Easy on the wrist

Jan 28, 2013

The right tilted design takes a lot of stress off my wrist so it isn't sore anymore. The wireless connection helps a lot with my computer that has its USB ports right where one would put a mouse (and thus the plug and cord get in the way). Because it is a trackball, you don't need much room for it and it won't scratch up your desktop.

Works great.

Feb 11, 2015

I use this trackball at home. I had one some time ago, then for several years I could not seem to find one that was thumb controlled. The only thing so far, and it may be just me, but it seems extra easy to accidently hit the right hand button with my finger when I thought I was not resting it on the button hard enough to actuate it.

Trackball saved my right forearm

May 25, 2016

Use of trackball has saved my forearm. The Logitech trackball is the most comfortable trackball and I have used it from the wired version (which I prefer) to the current version. It is comfortable, smooth and accurate. The reason I drop a star is that it does not last long enough. This purchase to replace my current on when it fails.

Reliability a potential issue

May 10, 2018

For about a year, it performed superbly. Then just as suddenly, it died. All attempts to revive it such as cleaning the ball etc. failed. It works but reliability is an issue. I have non wireless trackballs which are performing beautifully even after 15 years of use. So for this product reliability is an issue. Hence only 3 stars.

Smooth as silk

Jan 9, 2013

The mouse was delvered without a hitch. It worked out of the box syncing with the Logictech nano. This stationary mouse has given me more desktop space and works on any surface. Really programmable features and makes naigating my Windows and Mac systems a breeze. BTW it saves the battery by sleeping when not be used.....sweet.....

Great additon to laptop.

Jun 12, 2012

I have been using the wired version of this mouse for serval years. This wireless one is even better. I use it for image editing and can't image using another style mouse ever again. I would avoid using a mouse when outside or in my recliner, but this mouse goes anywhere and I still have my trackball. Makes every task much easier.

Great product for an economical price

Mar 6, 2016

This mouse works as advertised and is a great price for this type of mouse. I use it on my personal computer and it is easy to use. I needed it to reduce my wrist movement compared to a standard mouse and it is a big improvement. The only improvement would be the ball is very touchy if you need to put the cursor in an exact spot.

seems to be fine

Dec 17, 2015

It works as expected. I had a logitech trackman (or whatever it was called) for some decades and it finally stopped working reliably. I was worried about getting a replacement, because I really liked the feel of that old one. Fortunately, I don't even notice that I've got a new one (except noticing that it works) so all is good.

Nice but would be better if Bluetooth

Mar 21, 2017

Nice device -- works very well. It is very precise and the actuation action on the buttons is crisp and definitive., The controls are laid out very naturally for my use. The only drawback and the reason I have not been using this extensively of late is that it requires a USB port for the receiver. Would like a Bluetooth version.

Great Laser Mouse

Aug 7, 2013

This mouse is used in a work environment and is great. When working on a confined work-space it allows full movement on the screen with laser accuracy. As with any environmental influences our shop is oily and dirty at times and it builds up on the ball posts. A quick pop out of the roller ball, a cleaning and all is well.

Love it!

Jul 20, 2011

Logitech only made the trackball better with wireless capability. I used the wired trackball for years before buying this one. I don't remember reading but it shuts off by itself, it's a good thing because I never remember the tiny switch on the bottom. Also B&H had the best price, don't even bother with the auction site.

The only one I would use

Jan 30, 2013

I use this for both home and work. It is a great trackball and much easier than a mouse. So much so I had to get a third one for my wife since she took my home one. I may need another because my kids like the way it works. I like that I can turn it on and off and the USB receiver fits inside the slot for easy travel.

Good and bads but I like it

Sep 8, 2014

I use the mouse everyday during the week at my day job. it works very nicely and has a good range. I originally bought this for home use with Photoshop but wasn't totally sure i would like it. Well i didn't but just because it did not work for that doesn't mean it isn't a good product! Still 5 stars for a nice tool!

The best Trackball to be had!

Sep 13, 2011

There are several types of track balls out there and they are few and far between. this model is what I have used since its inception and I have several as backups should they cease to produce. they work. They are reliable and they are easy to clean on the rare occasions you might need to. Unconditional thumbs up!!

Not my first of these

Oct 27, 2015

I've always preferred these trackballs to regular mice. I have owned these since they were the corded version. My scroll wheel wore out, so I bought 2 replacements because B&H had a great price on them. I only gave it 4 stars because I expected to get a few more years out of it before the scroll wheel wore out.

I'd buy it again in a heat beat!

Jun 7, 2016

I've used the wired version for years -- eventually they do die. I was a bit disappointed it is no longer made, but have no regrets about buying this one. One key feature (new to me) is the location of the forward and reverse buttons -- which did not exist on the wired version. All in all, a fantastic purchase!

Better than the previous version

Nov 2, 2014

Have found this style of mouse/trackball worls best for me - eliminated wrist issues when using a standard mouse. Previous version wireless was a joke; got about 6 inches of signal (perhaps a bad unit). This one is actually wireless. Occasionally get some unknown signal interference but not sure from what.

I love a wireless trackball!!!

May 5, 2017

All I have to say is I have two of these now. One for my work office and one for the home office. These are great wireless trackballs. I use AutoCAD on a regular basis, and these help from moving my mouse all over the desk. I wish Logitech would make a bluetooth version of this for use with my Macbook.

Great Trackball

Jul 18, 2013

I purchased this Logitech Trackball to replace a 10 year old Logitech Trackman. I was skeptical about going to the wireless version, but have been pleasantly surprised. This is as comfortable as I was hoping! Tracking, accuracy, button feel, ease of installation all have been great. Highly recommended.

Nice Mouse

Oct 27, 2014

Quite and odd shape and design but make no mistake this mouse it great! After that initial awkward period of getting used to it you will wonder how you did without this mouse.Within 3 feet of range latency is minimal and the blue is much better to look at than the previous model's red color ball.

Jan 14, 2013

To me this is the best mouse i have ever used. I have used a number of mouse both gaming and business mouses and all pale in comparison to how accurate and comfortable this mouse is. Between its great design, good battery life, great feel and response its my only mouse that I use everywhere.

Need another right hand

Dec 8, 2010

This product is very comfortable and reliable (when you don't forget to turn it on). The thumb operated ball is much less fatiguing than the ball-on-top design. The rubber support pads keep it from creeping or wandering on my desk. Need another right hand to make a case for buying another.

Best wireless mouse out there, no doubt!

Apr 21, 2013

The product is used in a community theatre setting, and I liked it so much I also got one for my own private use. The sensitivity is perfect, giving me a fantastic control via this mouse. Battery life is fantastic on this thing. Easily the best wireless mouse on the market in my opinion.

FREE at last!

Jul 24, 2012

Being an amateur graphic artist I've used Trackballs for years. Now I NEVER have to use my laptop's pad. The placement of the ball and buttons fit my hand so well I have yet to hit a wrong button (a frequent problem with my last trackball). I hope this one lasts me the rest of my life.
