5DIV has serious auto focus issues
I purchased the 5DIV thinking it would be an upgrade from my 5DII. I was wrong. 80% of the shots with the 5DIV are out of focus, soft, and in some cases there is nothing in focus (which I don't understand, but it is happening). Huge Upgrade
I bought this camera as an upgrade from the original 5D and it is an incredible upgrade. Everything that bothered me with the old 5D has been fixed here. Now I'm just finding I have to up my game to match the high resolution sensor.

Was worth it
I was happily using my 5D MK 3 for years. Its starting to get old & I worried it would eventually need replacing. Around Christmas I was bitten by the bug to take the plunge & get the MK 4. Great Camera
Right after my purchase, I took the camera to Singapore and Vietnam and it worked flawlessly. Have the 5D Mark III as well but there as some noticeable upgrades. Love the camera and takes some great images.

Easy transition from 80D
I finally made the jump from my trusty Canon 80D to this body. I haven't had much opportunity to use it yet, but was out on a cloudy day and got much finer detail on a distant Northern Shrike than I've ever been able to get before at that low light level and distance. Great Camera, Great Accessory Kit, Great Price
As always, the EOS 5D doesn't disappoint. For me the Mark IV was an upgrade from older 5D. The accessory kit was the icing on the cake, with SD card, extra battery, sensor cleaning system and carrying case, this package was a great value.

I do professional photography, and I would not trade this camera for any other one. I have used rebels, nikons, and I own a Canon 6D. I love this camera so much and cannot wait to see all I can do with it!

Upgraded from Mark II
The low light capacity of this camera is amazing. I upgraded from version 2 and this camera is also a LOT faster. I paired it with several L lenses, the 70 - 200 2.8 is amazing with this camera. I am still learning all the features, but I just took 3 week trip and the photos look amazing!

Amazing Camera
Finally pulled the trigger on this one. It's an amazing camera. The noise level at high ISO is very low. Can't say enough about how great it is. So far has not disappointed.

Before I start using EOS 5d Mark IV I was using EOS 6d which is a great and light weight of beginner full frame body. I am still getting used to the feel and settings of 5d Mark IV.. There is a lot to learn day by day. I love canon ergonomics, it's well handheld.

Step up to the Professional level
Oay there comes a time when you stop hearing, Oh, I can do that with my (fill in the name of a lesser quality product). Coming from a 6D to a 5D Mark IV it is plain to see there is a difference. But the other adage is also true, it only cost a little more to go First Class.

Solid performer but lags competition in a few features
I got the 5DM4 to replace my 6D and 7D and it's a significant upgrade for me, so I'm quite pleased with the performance.
