This is not my first MOTU interface so I has confident to be purchasing a high quality product, which can be confirmed by the first couple of weeks till now. The Monitor 8?s most remarkable feature to me is that it addresses the greatly overlooked need to have more than just one or two monitor outputs, even better also enough headphones, for live and recording scenarios that gather the excitement of several talents interacting simultaneously... Hopefully this will help bring back the power of the interaction of musicians and help forget and leave aside the lonesome times of the do-it-all music-producer-dj.mixer-recordist-masterizer-etc unrequested outfit increasingly worn out in the past couple of decades. MOTU customer support replied swiftly to my enquire with valuable information that helped me solve my problems and doubts about how to integrate the unit in my complex live/studio rig. As alternative to the Monitor 8 I would have preferred if MOTU offered a half-rack Monitor only unit to pair with another AVB capable MOTU interface with a different set of I/O and portability....Montre moins
