Love this thing

Oct 3, 2010

I bought this for a weekend of shooting downtown Indianapolis and some other cool areas. I loved it. All the time i saw fisheye i always see those cheap bubble looking and i was glad to know this didn't do that. Its definitely nicer and depending on use, can really give you a nice large wide view on a city line or waterfall. Only thing i don't like about it is the lens cover doesn't seem too secure, doesn't fall off but i would of liked something... Show More

Very high quality fisheye lens

Built in filters are great. Build quality is about as good as any lens gets. Like most fisheyes resolves images with very high quality. I find it useful as a super wide angle without fisheye effect. I refer to this style as a flat field fisheye - hold it square and very little distortion in center - point up or down and nice curvature occurs.

not bad at all

getting good clear pictures from it an an a850. very wide angle and nice fish eye distortion. just be aware of the type of lense you are buying here. only negative is the front of the lens is exposed more than usual. I guess the bag you get for protection works, but it is a little odd.

An excellent lens

Jul 4, 2011

My son brought the Yankee ticket for me as Father's Day present. I thought to take the Yankee Stadium using a Fisheye lens, therefore, I order it from B&H. ...The photos I took are great! I am very happy with it.

Nice addition to the kit

It's a pricey lens, but it allows some creativity not found in any other type of lens. Fisheye has been around for a long time, there's a reason for that. the images produced add something different.

Great quality lens, still getting use to it and testing all the waters but I love the results thus far.
