Time Consuming - Low Resolution
It does what it needs to do, but there is either a 5 megapixel or 10 megapixel scan option which gives you a file size of 1.7mg when using the highest resolution option. It could be helpful for digitizing old photos, but not even worth it for professional results. There's no way you can do any sorts of post processing with a 1.7mg file size.

Never Saved Image
Could never get the scanner to save image to SD card. Tried two different units. Tried several different SD cards. Operation manual doesnt cover anything on trouble shooting or SD card problems.

Scanning speed.
The best feature is that there is no need to input directly into the computer, and the speed of the scanning, that is not possible on all other film scanners.

minimal image adjustment control
I got this scanner to archive my family's old slides. Review of film scanner
I was able to use this scanner with no problems. The instructions are useless. But common sense works great. This scanner did a good job on my film, was quick and is very easy to use. It was a good purchase.

Easy to covert slides to digital
Novoscan 3-in-1 works great. Documentation could be more helpful. On board screen could be bigger.

i would recomend this scanner
I am not good with equipment, but this was easy to use and I am seeing all the sides I took years ago. I just put the chip into my computer and there you go all the slides are there.
