This is the headphone in our intercom system. The audio quality if fine, the build quality of the headset though is well below par. They break easily especially the boom mic. We've had to buy nuts and bolts to replace the plastic mechanism that tighten and hold the mic in place and also, we've had to use soda bottle tops with wax to hold the mic in place. NOT COMPATIBLE
This product is NOT COMPATIBLE with MANY PortaCom systems. I got 4 of them. Only headphones worked but not the microphone. My body pack number is BP-200. BHP technicians told me that this headset is compatible with any bodypack. I called Anchor Audio who makes these headsets. They said H2000LT is not compatible with many body packs and bases. Ok enough product
This is a nice headset, good audio and comfortable on the head. The construction could have been stronger. The screw that joins the mic to the headset is made of plastic, easy to break and difficult to fix. The internal wiring is also flimsy, if it should break or become damaged, good luck in repairing that. All in all, the headset works fine, the mic attachment and wiring needs a more robust solution. I have 10 of these headsets, and the headphone alone now works on only 7 of them. The other 3 are the only ones with the mic working.

Did Not Work...
Purchased several of these as replacement headsets with my Portacom system. Plugged one in and it did not work right. We could hear fine but got nothing on the microphone part of it. Plugged in each one and all of them had the same problem. If you want a comfortable set of headphones, these are great, but if you actually want to use these as a two-way communication headset, then avoid purchasing!

Works well
I've been using these for live and studio shoots for years. They work very well, but occasionally the microphone connections gets worn out and goes in and out. This only happens after several years of use and travel.

Great Headset
Theare are great comms headsets. Excellent sound isolution and the mic pickup is great. I use these with my Port-Com wireless system all over the world. One note, make sure you pack them well when shipping.

works great, well constructed, well made
I added this to my existing com set, it is used alot and holds up well. It is not as confortable as I wish it was and the headband does not have much flexibility.

Must be wired wrong, because I can't get them to work with the packs. I've tried two now. No luck.
