Surprisingly good!
Works great with my phone. I would imagine it will work well with other equipment as well. However, it doesn't seem to work well with DJI products. For whatever reason, there is a weird periodic noise with the Osmo Pocket and Osmo Action. It must be something on DJIs part because it works just fine with my phone. Extremely sensitive to wind noise.

Must have
Have had it for many years. Albeit this is my only surround mic, and I have broken it couple of times (my fault: separated the base and the mic in action, so a new foam had to be glued in), this is a true must have for any home movie enthusiast. The 5.1 sound it produces adds so much to the video and the sound stays in 5.1 format despite video editing, so it is a no-nonsense piece of kit. In the next version, I hope they add power via audio cable (instead battery), which would provide auto-on capability.

Awesome Microphone
Received in Australia within 10 days of placing the order. The performance of this microphone is exceptional with a exceptional surround sound system. Much more than I expected for the price. I record it on Zoom H1, since my camera has only a mono mic input. I process the audio into the video in post production.

Great Sound
I use this for my wildlife videos. This VIVE microphone is light and has a small footprint on my system. I did have to repair this right out of the package, the base was loose from the head, held on only by two faced doughnut shaped tape. I had to get the hot glue gun for the repair. It also picks up the wind, there is a dead cat for this for $ bucks, but I made one myself from a piece of faux fur and an elastic band.

Repaired after an hour
This is a very delicate microphone, after removing from packaging I noticed the head dangling from the base. It is only secured by two face tape in the shape of a doughnut, I had to get out the hot glue gun to repair, I hate sending products back. I did get it setup and working, I would advise getting a wind screen ( dead cat ). I was surprised to find out that there wa a wind screen made for this but it was almost $ USD. So I made my own. Really cool! Get one
For the price this is amazing. I am using this on my 7D. Try taking this to a motorcycle race and shooting video of the bikes going by on the track. You will appreciate the 5 mic setup and the Dolby then. I needed something better than the camera mic and this was inexpensive compared to a lot of things out there. I gambled and bought this. Not like a shotgun mic but it is way better than not getting heard at all! Mine is a little twisted on the mount, needs filed down to sit straight. Other than that it is a cool tool.

A mini But Mighty
Talk about a size supprise, my watch is almost bigger than this micrphone. But to my delight the Microphone has Very good midtone sound, excellent channel sepperation, and like any Mic. you will need fur cover for wind noise and echo's, my next investment. (RycoteWindjammer,B&H#rymwcavsm,approx.$) The only minor complaint, is the shoe is to wide, by about a 1/64, so I filed it down a Hair, now it fits my Nikons just fine.

Great Surround Sound!
This product gives me great surround sound for my recordings of weddings and other events I am contracted to film. People love the idea that I can provide them not only excellent quality video...but also excellent quality audio. Also...the sensitivity and low distortion on this microphone is awesome for the price! So much better then the microphone which is built into my SONY Camcorder

Great lightweight Surround Sound Mic

Absolutely Amazing!
Ive had a Vive for several months now and am very happy with the unit. It is a great product that actually does what it claims to do. The fact that it works as well as it does seems amazing to me especially considering its price. Sound coming from the rear has surprising separation when played back on a surround sound system. Great way to get into surround recording
Not quite a professional product, and it doesn't pretend to be, but a great inexpensive way to get surround sound on a stereo camcorder. Sound quality of this microphone is pretty good, but it lacks a bit of low frequency bass sound, something that can be corrected when you edit. Built-in stereo cable is a bit short if you own a bigger camcorder but a simple extension corrects that flaw. A+
