An amazing difference

Jul 1, 2018

I use the headset as an auxiliary tool for composing and mixing music. Still, it's an amazing relief when I put this headset on my head. So far, I have used the AKG K240 MkII (much lower bass and total quieter handset), much more expensive FOCAL proffesional (cast money, no bass power, unpleasant sound that does not have much to do with the actual mix). The most interesting thing is that the first AKG and FOCAL I was paid for more than twice... Show More

Great pair of headset for budget needs

Feb 16, 2018

I got this pair or headphones for my home recording studio. I mainly use the for recording and also mixing. When recording, these headphones to not bleed into the mic, even at higher volumes, the build quality is very good and the noise canceling works great. They are very comfortable (at least on my head) and I can use them for hours straight without feeling any sort of discomfort of fatigue. The sound quality is great, you get a very balanced sound and with enough low end to satisfy your needs. It's quite a great pair of headphones for this price range. I highly recommend them!

Perfect for the price

Dec 28, 2017

The sound is perfect for monitoring with all ranges coming through equally consistent. I don't get other reviews that say the bass is underwhelming, you don't want it taking over if you're using them to monitor. It even sounds good with my iPhone X, although I wouldn't use them everyday for that purpose. The construction is solid seems like it will last. The headband adjustment is smooth and stable, satisfyingly clicking on each selection, and staying there even with movement. The muffs could be a little more substantial, but not by much. Overall this is an excellent buy for the money.

Good noise cancelling and sound

Nov 8, 2017

Despite a not so comfortable design, these headphones are the right answer for those who wants to study music without all that noise surrounding you. The sound is well balanced, I use AKG K182 during my rehearsal sessions or just to listen some studio stuff and it's just the best quality/price product I've tried so far, IMHO. Especially suggested for drummers, during studio or rehearsal sessions.

Amazing

To put it in simple words, they are amazing! Really good bass response without losing mid range and high end. Nice isolation, really good build quality, and detachable cable. Best headphones in this price range! Would recommend to anyone.

Ticks all the boxes

Sep 27, 2016

Bought these as a present for my son who wanted headphones which cut out the distraction of office chatter, allow him to listen to his music without distracting others, and comfortable to wear for long periods, and compact enough to be carried in his bag to work. The AKG K-182 does all that. Sound isolation is impressive and the sound quality far, far in advance of anything else he has tried. They are comfortable enough for you almost forget yo... Show More

Great headphones

pros: Comfortable headphones, become with a little bag to carry around and an astonish sound quality. cons: the noise cancellation is really good, but I can still hear some noise coming from the office.

Great Home Studio Headphone

Jan 18, 2016

These headphones are very articulate in the highs and high-mids. There is a hint of bass in them as well, but remember these are monitor headphones. They are not meant to have a lot of bass, and are meant for articulation. That initial tone was being ran through my motherboards built in sound card. But when I put them through my Mayflower O2+ODAC Rev. B combo the sound became a lot fuller. The true sound was being held back by my motherboards bui... Show More

Amazing Sound!

Sometimes cheaper is better, but these studio headphones sound great. They sound much better than some more expensive studio headphones I've used.
