Dope mic for the price

Dope mic, just went from a blue yeti usb to this for recording vocals and I'm blown away by the quality difference. Paired it with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface and I love it! I also highly recommend the SM8 shock mount to go with it. Well worth the money unless you trynna cop a way more expensive mic.

Very full sounding compared to others in the price. I have a at2020 and mxl v250 and neither of them come close to this mic. Can be boomy on acoustic of not placed properly. There is a proximity effect, so be sure of placement and performers movements. I have gotten good clean takes every time with this mic if I take the time and place it right. Great first mic or to add to the ol locker.

The mic sounds great. Did some acoustic guitar recordings and the sound exceeded my expectations. I need to treat my room better because it did pick up a lot of ambient room reflection as does any good quality condenser microphone. It sounds clean with good bottom end response and crisp highs. Haven't tried it with vocals yet but and sure it will do great.

Great sounding microphone at a very budget friendly price. Seriously you cant find a better sounding, solid, rugged microphone at a better price. No bells and whistles but the cardioid pattern is all most people will ever need. And its sexy and modern looking too.

Solid mic, nice sound

I used it with my guitar amp, which sounded good. The mic picks up a lot of detail. When recording vocals, the mic didn't pick up much white noise, but it recorded every mouth sound and tongue movement extremely clearly. It sounds a lot better than my dynamic mic. It's built like a Maglite.

This is a very clear Mic. I also have the original ST51 large diaphragm mic and they are very similar sounding. I would recommend this Mic. A good addition to any mic locker.
