I've had various headphones through the years, on-ear headphones aren't my favorite but I decided to give a try with these ones because of the price and reviews online. Here's what I've found: Build: its plastic, but it doesn't feel like its going to break, the good thing is that it feels lightweight. It doesn't fold, but the ear cups turn so you can fit them in a backpack and it won't feel like they may break. Comfort: the band doesn't have padding but I didn't find that an issue, its quite comfortable and it can be used for long periods of time. Just make sure you position the ear cups correctly in a way that feels comfortable so that your esrs won't hurt. Ports and input: its a completely wireless device, in the sense that there isn't any aux port. It will only connect via Bluetooth but thanks to the battery life, I don't think it will be an issue. It has 3 buttons which have various functions including summoning your smart assistant and that's great. The microphone sounds clear and rich and a USB type C port is there with fast charging which I think its a great addition, specially if you're traveling many hours. Audio quality: exceptional! I didn't think the audio would sound so good on these, but its just amazing. You'll feel like the instruments are around you... in my opinion, it has a healthy balance between mids, lows and highs. These do not offer noise cancelation, but as long as you keep the volume on modest levels, its hard to hear it outside and you won't have much issues with external sounds in most conditions. TL;DR; great battery life, plastic build but feels sturdy, great audio quality, doesn't fold but ear cups turn for "portability", just a couple of buttons (but useful) with great mic and no other input only bluetooth. Disclaimer: your experience may vary based on headphones you have used. My usage has been mainly for listening to series, music and podcasts on my TV, iPhone and iPad. ... More

My Jabra headset at work snapped, and to get around company purchasing policies where all headsets were backordered, I paid for a new pair of headphones out of pocket. I chose the the cheapest pair of wireless headphones I could find. The good news: they sound fine. For casual listening, no issues at all. The bad news: for noisy (high background noise) environments, the mic picks up everything. In a pre-Covid office environment, coworkers voices are transmitted. The air leaving a surgical mask is picked up as heavy breathing. My rating therefore reflects an office that has some amount of low-level hubbub. If working from home, I'd rate these headphones as five stars. Bluetooth range is excellent, connection (on a 2018 Lenovo laptop) is snappy and extremely stable, and the mic is crisp and sharp. But bring it into an office and the mic pics up everything, which means you better get used to toggling the mute button on and off. ... More

I was starting the gym and wanted some wireless headphones that had good quality (like apple earphones) but were also reasonably priced. I found these & I can’t recommend them enough. The sound quality is amazing (very close to the quality of apple earphones/airpods), the battery last FOR AGES, they are noise cancelling, they are light weight, comfortable and they are adjustable. My only complaint (which, isn’t necessarily a big issue) is that they do leak sound. However, you don’t need the volume up too high as they are loud & bassy (sound doesn’t leak on lower volumes). So, its up to you if that’s something you really don’t want. But, if you want them for something (like the gym or a high traffic area like a noisy tube or train) no one is going to hear that anyway. But even then, noise leaking (in my opinion) isn’t a big deal :) But yea definitely get them, best cheap(ish) headphones i’ve found!!! ... More

I got these a few weeks ago, using them most days at a couple hours a time since. They're honestly very good. The sound quality is nice; lows, mids, and highs all come through. The battery is long lasting (I'm still yet to charge them). There's only a couple downsides, first being that after wearing them for a couple hours they can become uncomfortable, but that's to be expected with most headphones. The other downside being that when using them for phone calls or in discord calls etc, there is a slight echo of your voice and every other sound around you, it's not too off-putting, but can be a little irritating. Overall I'd say the Sony WH-CH510 headphones are 100% worth buying, especially for the price. ... More

The sound quality is great, range great, connection great but they sit too snug. I can't keep them on for more than 20 min without needing to take them off to give my ears a break. Just feels sore in the end

Sony is a great company that makes high standard products. These headphones are the cheapest wireless ones which make, and boy are they good. I have had mine for over a week a now and the battery life is incredible! In fact, I haven’t taken the charger out of the packaging yet. You charge these via a USB-C cable which is amazing. USB-C is the next big thing so it is great to have it. The sound is decent and compares well to the Apple AirPods.

Very easy to pair with a phone, with an easy to follow quick start guide supplied. The supplied usb-c cable is very short, but I’m using my own instead. Very reliable connectivity and superb battery life. Very good build quality, especially for the price - the headband doesn’t have any padding however, which some people may find slightly uncomfortable if not used to it. Very good volume and sound quality for the price. When using the mic a lot of background gets picked up which might be a problem when making phone calls in noisy places. Overall, very satisfied.

I bought these headphones to connect to my TV via Bluetooth and I’m very happy with them. They connect up very easily and have a ridiculously long battery life - I’ve had them hooked up for nearly two days before they needed charging. Charging is quick for the battery life too, it normally only takes a couple of hours. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. Would recommend these headphones.

I've had these headphones for a few weeks now and although I only really use them whilst exercising on a cross trainer, (most days for between 20mins and an hour) I have only charged them once and they are still telling me they are fully charged when I turn them on. I also discovered they have a microphone which I didn't realise when I bought them, which would enable me to answer my phone hands free whilst using them. Nobody has phoned me though, so I can't say how good the reception is. The volume, skip and pause functions work well, once you get used to how they feel on the right hand speaker. The only misgiving is that there is no fast forward/reverse ability, one has to do that on the phone. Not too much of a big deal though. All being said, I think these headphones are well worth the money. Recommended! ... More

I bought these wireless ones as I had recently upgraded my phone which does not have a headphone jack. The sound quality is pretty good and can go to a more than loud enough volume. The battery life is incredible surpasses the claimed battery life on the packaging. The only negative I have is that the headphones do feel cheap and the headband has no padding on it so wearing them for a lengthy period can get quite uncomfortable.

I bought these for a friend and were good, bought a pair for myself and the feedback was awful on calls (you hear your voice back, every single sound that’s near you is amplified and played back to you) the sound is also very echoey, it sounds as if each side aren’t working simultaneously with the other

You pay a premium for the Sony branding. No active noise cancelling which you would expect at this price. The charging cable supplied is way too short so impractical. Expect to buy a new USB C Type if you don't have a spare. Battery life while good don't expect 35 hours more like 20. Also the battery indicator once down to 25 percent becomes inaccurate and you could find it turns off due to low battery soon after. Bluetooth connectivity is generally good. Hands free mode average with some feedback when used to make calls Sound quality fair for the price stereo separation a bit cluttered. Audio characterisation flat. Suffers from the same audio video delay synchronisation due to the implementation of Bluetooth that plagues headphones at this price. Overall fair for the price much better than inear headphones. ... I've only had these for a short while but they're worth their weight for sure (they're very light actually). You can run with them on your head and they don't slip at all, the battery life far outlives my phone, they do charge rapidly in 10 minutes and they cover your ears so they don't start to hurt. Well worth the money and they do what they claim to. Audio quality is good but not incredible and the buttons are a little plasticky but that's being picky for the price.

Was surprised at how small these headphones were - sound quality is great and connects to devices easily, minimises background noise well. Again they do feel slightly small and don’t cover the ears completely (and no I don’t have ears like the BFG) but they work perfectly for me. The ear section folds flat so there easy to transport if needed.

Sound quality is amazing. Also, I only wear them on the way to and from work and briefly to the shops, the batter has remained fully charged about a whole month after purchasing and charging up the first time. They also look nice and stylish, not too bulky. I love the navy colour. Would really recommend these headphones. These headphones are a cheap alternative to the more expensive ones and work just as well. The battery life is really good, I've been using these for over a week and haven't had to charge them yet. They are comfortable and sit well on my head. I previously had Sony's wired version and these are the same as those, except wireless. I particularly like the adjustable headband as it gives me the ability to adjust the headphones to suit my comfortability. Overall these are good quality headphones and I am so glad I made the purchase.
