A good speaker
They are not the latest version, don't have DSP, onboard EQ or Bluetooth....but forget that noise anyway. I was able to get them for $150 less on B&H than ANYWHERE, no coupons....so I was able to buy covers as well. So far I notice the increased head room and clarity. AWESOME SPEAKER!!!
These little beasts from Electro Voice will amaze you. I bought a pair of these ELX112p's about two weeks ago and couldn't be more happier. Last week I did a DJ Gig of about 100 people and was amazed by the amount of volume that came out of these small 12 speakers. I also could not believe how crystal clear these things are. I had no EQ. Just straight from mixer to speakers and away we go. The bass response was excellent, nice and punchy. I had the JBL EON's before this and let me tell you, Im not missing a thing. These ELX112P's kill the EON's by far. Do Yourself a Favor and pick up a pair.

Buy this speaker with all the free extras that b and h is throwing in,it's a no brainer . no other seller is giving you all these extras, As far as the performance of this ev it's very good,I have used it in small to med. bars with no problems , you do not need a sub, there is plenty of bass and nice highs,The woofer and the horn are the same as the zlx model,but the amp is not the same,you lose some sound quality with the zlx because of the proc... Great heavy duty speaker
Use two of these and a soundcraft ui16. Great flat sounds. Mostly bar and small clubs. Music and comedy shows.

Great speaker high clarity
I use these speakers as my main speakers for partys and home speakers and they sound so good the highs are clear and sharp and has good low end frequency as well. I would recomend these speaker to a friend. Superb speakers

Excellent Sound
I really like the sound from these. They are easy enoungh to handle weight-wise. Felt that the 15s while going a bit lower in bass were not quite as clear in the mids so got the 12s. Mic Level input very handy for background music. Quality sound at high levels no issues with peaking out.

The Best 12 Active Made
These are really great speakers. I thought I had hit the pinnacle of active loud speakers until I added the dbx DriveRack. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542459-REG/dbx_PX_DriveRack_PX_Powered.html This has EVERYTHING you need to REALLY make these babies pop. The clarity is amazing without any distortion at all. I have played rooms with 250+ people in them with these as the Mains!! Yes the MAINS!! They are that good. Ran 14 channels thru them and you could clearly hear everything on the board. Just awesome!! Don't let the light weight of these fool you...they have power!

Great 12 inch Powered Speaker!!!
Wood cabinet....great low end for a 12' speaker and same weight as the QSC K12 (41 lbs) and sounds better.
