Excellent Studio Monitor for small suite
I purchased these to replace my old MDR-V150s. A perfect upgrade. The size of the ear pieces and overall design is really nice. They are well constructed to last, and are a staple for monitoring sound on any film set or small post suite. They also sound great!

Right Ear piece just fell off
My right ear piece just fell off, trying to slide it back up but looks like it hooks on to something inside the plastic. Need to take it apart, and possible replace them. Until this just happened, I've loved them. Sounds good, lightweight. Ive used them for production on an HPX-170 and for editing in FCP on a laptop.

Once again Sony has made a wonderful product. I would recommend these quality headphones to anyone interested in seriously monitoring their audio.

Nice little Headphones
I use these with a Tascam DR-100 for oral histories. Lightweight & comfortable. Blocks out external noises well. Great product for the money.

Fine Headphones
I use these to monitor the audio on my camcorder. They pick-up more background sound than the camcorder does. Haven't had them long enough to know if I like that.

Not bad for the money
I am using these headphones to monitor audio on my camera rig. I had higher quality headphones in the past that were great but would often get damaged when moving around from location to location. These headphones are ok. For the money a good deal but if critical monitoring is needed I would purchase a higher quality set.
