The set simply did not function on a state of the art computer on which a previous Oculus set worked without a simple problem. No matter how hard we tried to troubleshoot, sent Log files to Oculus support, the black blank screen would not disappear. We returned it.

Best affordable VR

I love this VR - it’s much clearer and crisp than the PlayStation VR I used to have. Be sure to wipe the lenses with a micro fibre cloth to avoid scratching. Cons are only the wire but my friend suggested using a hoist hooked to the ceiling which is a good idea!

Oculus Rift S

Su much fun. Totally worth a buy if you have good enough pc to run VR games. Internal tracking is very good, much less set up. Good resolution. Sound is a little bit light, but you can use headphones. It was my first VR headset and I'm very pleased with it.

the rift s is the future

the device provides another completely different world to me. but make sure the first thing which is the most important is to make sure your desktop supports VR. The VR games are less expensive than play stations ones and Nintendo games. i recommend it strongly

Don't buy

I would not purchase the Oculus Rift s, not at the moment anyway. Facebook has made clear at OC6 that the future is all about Quest especially with PC link coming soon. Took mine back got refund getting the Cosmos a little more but worth it or grab a Quest!

Value for Money VR

This VR headset is one of the cheaper ones available for playing VR with. Even with its low price bracket it still delivers amazing quality of picture and sound while playing in VR. I would 100% recommended to anyone thinking of giving VR gaming ago.

A game changer...

Oculus were first into the VR game and a couple of years after their original consumer headset they're back with the Rift S with better resolution and revolutionary inside out tracking. The only close competitor is the Vive Index at twice the price.

Best VR experience and pretty fast to setup

This is the first time I have purchased VR gadget and I went for rift s as I am having already good gaming desktop. Otherwise I would be choosing Quest. I did not find any difficulties while making initial setup, I would definitely recommend it.

The future is now

Just wow. I've been gaming for over 20 years and VR is by far the biggest development I've seen in my life time. Normally I play competitive shooters but the Rift S has me wanting to put on rather than play my regular shooters. Next level immersion!

Son's Christmas Pressie

My son and even his sister, plus Mum and Dad, his school friends were totally taken in by the experience, especially watching other people playing it bobbing up and down, dodging, etc, hilarious, a lot if fun, not cheap, but we'll worth it.

Exceptional value for money for VR

High quality VR headset for a Pc that offers exceptional value for money. The only slight issue encountered has been the requirement to do some personal investigations into steam connectivity to resolve performance issues and input lag.

Didn't feel like an upgrade

Brought this as an upgrade to the rift. Overall it just didn't feel like it improved. If this is your first vr device it would be great. However if this is an upgrade from the standard rift your better off waiting for next gen.

Very good product, graphics look amazing I sold my HTC Vive for this product. I would say this is better than the Vive. Would also say the experience is nearly as good as the Vive Pro well worth the money excellent product

Don't buy one

Two weeks on and still working with the Oculus support team to get the headset sensor check completed. Don't expect this to be plug and okay it's a nightmare made worse by constant pressure from my son to get it working.

Not worth the money

The first oculas cv1 was and is much better this is cheaply made and wasnt thought through sound is complete rubbish lose the vr emerstion experience it's not just about vision .thought they would of learnt that by now.

Excellent bit of kit

Had no idea how much fun this would be, can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to get into VR. Impressed with visuals although the sweet spot for perfect focus is small but then I assume it is for all headsets?

Far exceeded my expectation s

First time on vr but nothing to compare it to. Absolutely amazed with this product. Only negative thing is lens steams up if its been left in cold. Suggest leave it running for 5 mins before you put it on your head.

Amazing bit of kit. Fun for all ages

Took next to no time at all to get up and running (sub 20 mins from unboxing) that includes downloading software and games. Can be a real workout when your playing some games. Crystal clear and great controls.

The oculus s is a great upgrade to the oculus its a better experience and the lens quality is much much better , its more comfy and better fitting , would recommend this all day long , its a great piece of kit .

Amazing

Must have a powerful PC / Laptop (not any normal one will do) for this to run. Keep in mind this is like any other games console you then need to buy the applications to play with it on top of this price.
