Upgrade from CV1
Upgraded from CV1. Many reviews online so I'll just say that the view is clearer due to no more god rays and a slight bump in resolution. Bottom line if you have CV1 and have disposable income then upgrade. If money is tight then maybe not bother. Oh and you will need separate headphones as the sound basically doesn't exist with this headset.

Takes a lot of setting up!
It takes quite a bit of time to download the software even with a fast broadband connection! I imagine it would be a frustrating Xmas gift waiting to download and set it up. Once done it’s an amazing experience, all of the family really enjoyed playing, its also fun watching someone play especially if you can see what they are watching.

Good product. Have tried it at a friends house but it is not compatible for MSI gaming laptops. Returned it to my local store and the Manager was furious at me. Still got the refund but pretty sad he actually tried to stop me returning something within the legal 30 day return policy. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get into VR

Loving every second!
One of the best purchases I've made in long time. It was really easy to set up and start using. Graphics and controls are absolutely brilliant. The cable attaching the headset to the computer is a touch annoying but long enough to get around anywhere you need. NB. Make sure you have a computer that can handle VR before buying this!

Alot better than I expected it to be.
Having tried a HTC vive that my friend has I wanted a VR headset myself l, I found the rift s to be much better value. Extremely easy to set up and very comfortable to wear. Only negative vs a vive is the tracking isn't quite as good as the lighthouse system that has , though it is still very good and far far easier to use and set up.

A visual upgrade from the original rift.
Have used the original rift for about a year. This new version has better visuals. There's a good resolution jump and the god rays have been reduced. Very please with my purchase. On the downside I do prefer the original sound system. That said you can opt for your own headphones over fbuilt in sound which is in the headband.

Head set very recommended
The oculus rift s is better than the first rift. It's compatable.with win 10 only 64 bit computer with a good graphics card and also usb 3 port for it to work. Fxn and is not compatable need a I5 or i7 processor When you put the head set on you be transported to other world's 2 thumbs up to this headset I recommend this

Worth the money.
This headset will augment your abilities substantially. Forget about playing vr games, the virtual desktop is going to enable you to do things on a whole new different level. Go ahead and try VR, it is impossible to describe the experience, you must see for yourself to get it. This is the future of human communication and work.

A fantastic upgrade from CV1
Bought as an upgrade from the original Rift. I was in two minds between this and the Samsung Odyssey Plus. While on paper the Samsung has better specs I am very happy with this purchase. The optics are fantastic and setup was a breeze. Benefiting from the Oculus app ecosystem and better SteamVR support I would highly recommend.

Oculus S is a Great Vr headset
overall I think that the oculus rift s is one of the best vr headsets out currently. For the price and ease of use it makes it a great product to purchase. has great screen quality, light, comfortable and affordable. This headset also has sensors built into it, meaning it can be used in smaller areas unlike other VR options.

It works great and is very comfortable.
I recently bought this and it's fantastic. The tracking works great and it is very comfortable. It takes a while to get used to but after having already used it for over 20 hrs I can say that it feels quick. Make sure your PC is compatible with this headset and you have enough room to use it. If you have these two: Go Ahead!

Improvement on Rift
This is not only an improvement on its use, the removal of the external sensor requirement is key here, but the quality of the image is improved. I would t say it’s a huge leap forward but there is a definite improvement in sharpness. Paired with a gaming laptop, this now makes VR gaming truly portable.

the thing is amazing the design is cud be better it takes a biy untill u manage to fit prooperly but after that boy oh boy fun starts just make sure you have enough area to pay in otherwise some one may get hirt or broken definetly worth to buy it its one of the best heatset in the matket for that value .

Who needs reality when you have VR
Such a good purchase, I must have spent a week consistently playing different games and exploring the world of VR. Now some times has passed I really enjoy putting on the headset and either watching a VR programme and jumping in a space ship and shooting across the galaxy. This is the future of gaming!!

Seeing things like Google Earth in VR is amazing.
VR is still a bit niche as tethered systems really need a fairly high spec pc/laptop with GTX 10 or RTX 20 series cards and this makes the kit expensive. But the immersive experience of room scale graphics is so worth it. Hopefully, there is much more content in the pipeline as well as the many games.

Great VR Headset
Easy to set up and great accompanying software. You can play steam games as well as all the oculus exclusives which is a big bonus for the oculus headsets. Only thing to look out for is the batteries in the handsets drain quickly - it’s worth buying some rechargeable AA batteries to go with them.

Great, just needed IPD Adj.
Coming from the CV1, this is great. I really enjoy not having to struggle with cameras, and the tracking is great. I have a large-ish IPD, so IPD adjustment would have been great. But even as it is, its still much clearer than the CV1. Just a bit blurry to the edges. All in all, a great buy.

Totally immersive and well worth the money
If your playing flight/space Sims this is a must. The immersion can only be realised once you have put the headset on. Had no issues other than the aux port on the headset can be a little temperamental at times. (as I don't use it much it hasn't been an issue. Great stepping stone into vr.

Oculus Rift S best all round VR Headset.
The Oculus Rift S is an incredible piece of kit and is a game changer for all your entertainment needs I highly recommend it too anyone who has a powerful enough pc/gaming laptop that can run it. I am 100% happy with my purchase and would recommend it too all my friends and family.

I had the older model oculus Rift and I thought that was amazing, then I brought this and it’s just absolutely incredible !! Especially when Argos delivered it next day as promised as I’m ver impatient haha. Would recommend everybody to get this it’s amazing great family fun

Brilliant, but read up.
It's easy to get it yourself or buy it as a gift and forget that VR gaming isn't like regular gaming, it is quite a niche market. Consider if another 50 or so £££ can be spent on games as having the tool doesn't mean you can simply enjoy it, you need something to do with it.

Worked amazingly until.......;.
After a few days and around 10 hours of use the controllers both stopped working. They didn't turn on after i had replaced the batteries as the tracking was starting to be inaccurate, i tried many different batteries and even put in the old ones yet they didn't turn on again.

Very very good
Been using this for about a month now. Was expecting a slightly above average VR headset, not much else. Turns out this is actually a fantastic headset and id recommended it to anyone who is looking to get in to VR without spending an extorsionate ammount on a headset.

Great headset for price, but some issues
The rift s is a great headset. The sound is rubbish but I had separate headphones that can be plugged into the headset so no issue for me. Great for price and would definitely recommend it but I had to return mine as there were multiple white flashes during game play.
