The price for these headphones is astonishingly low given the overall quality. I am very impressed with this set. One of the big pull factors for me was the high level of attenuation that I had heard about in reviews, I can now back this up. I was in the market for some quality headphones and originally like the look of the industry standard HD-25s. However, it really bothered me that they weren't 'over ear' headphones and much searching led me to these HD-380 Pro's. Versatile and Strong with a good depth of sound.
As a student studying Sound Tech, these Headphones have been absolutely fantastic. A great price for headphones that are brilliant when not trying to disturb someone and, yes, mixing shouldn't be done on headphones, but when the time comes when you are forced to, they really represent the music well. Excellent quality headphones, both sound-, built-, comfort- and portability-wise. The sound is faithful without exaggerations and distortions of the frequency spectrum. Perfect for recording, Good for rough mixes.
I bough these guy since i need some headphone with an insane isolation (or something like that) and at the same time with a good quality to listen the music while i record myself. I think these are the perfect heaphones for this purpose. Since they are closed back don't expect a perfect or very linear quality in terms of dynamic and frequency, at all. These headphones are a good value for tracking purposes. They are also pretty comfortable and can be worn for 2-3 hours easily. I also check mixes on them sometimes, but that's not what they phones excel at. They do excel at allowing you to hear what you're tracking well while keeping bleed to a minimum. Very pleased with this one
This is my second studio headset so my knowledge is not vast but maybe useful for someone. Sound is very good for my ears. I play guitar through mixer with these and it fits very well for that. I also used these while playing shooting game on my laptop and the explosions on that game sounded fantastic. Has good low bass on those explosion effects. I purchased these headphones around 3 and a half years ago, and am very impressed with the sound quality. Using them primarily as reference headphones whilst mixing, they provide a fairly flat frequency response with good lows and highs. the build quality is excellent, and the detachable cable makes replacing this component easy if it were to fail. Highly recommended headphones!
I bought these headphones to use in the studio with my band. When I first got them and tried them on, I noticed that the comfort was awesome. The padding is soft and goes around your ears, not across the ears as a lot of other headphones does. You can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The sound quality is very good. Ideal for field monitoring and big ears.
Bought it for field monitoring. My ears are big. So the industry standard headphones like Sony MDR 7506 or ATH M50x are not completely covering my ears...Even though they are marketed as "circumaural" or "over ear". So I searched for a bigger headphone that can completely isolate me from the environment. This one does it. It is light, comfortable and provides a neutral&flat sound profile. Perfectly adequate for the task at hand.

High quality headphones!
I was nicely surprised by the quality and the sturdiness of these headphones. I use them mostly for playing guitar with iPad and iRig. There are two minor cons: - my ears get sweaty after a long time under the ear cups - the coiled cable is somewhat heavy, so if I am not sitting down, the cable is pulling the headphones downwards Other than that I am satisfied with the product, I would highly recommend it!

Very nice headphones
I like so much these headphones..They isolate your ear so much that you cant hear anything except of your voice or the instrument. I think these are very good headphones but the only think that missing is that the treble is kind of hidden in the spectrum but still exist. i had akg k271 mk2 but they didnt have any bass freequencies like these.Moreover they couldnt isolate you so much

I think these headphones was ment for deejays. They aren't flat. Mids are boosted at about 2 k. Low end also sounds unnatural. Because of that they are pretty useless for mixing from my point of view. But I gues they can be very usefull in big clubs where the music is loud. I still prefer the cheaper Sennheiser model to do my job.

Great sound quality and good solid build
I purchased these for a multi-use set of headphones - mixing for sound and also playing electric drums at home. They have great bass response and the foam cups have a good amount of cancelling from outside noise. Great product and would highly reccomend for the price.

Brilliant.
Bought these to add to my home studio (no one ever brings their own) and by far the best headphones I have used, cups the ears comfortably and makes you feel immersed in sound. As a drummer they really help block out the kit so I can hear the track.

We use the headphones in our company for producing commercials. The sound is very clear and they are comfortable to wear, even after a longer period of time. We'd recommend the headphones if you want good sound and comfort that last for a long time.

Good quality sound and comfortable
