Defective microphone

Hard to quantify my rating as I dont like it but it seems like my only option. I ordered this headset for PS4 , it appears well constructed and the sound was acceptable for this price range. But the microphone would not work. I went to the Logitech website looking for a solution but found none. Im returning this headset to B&H, who are always so good about returns. Im reluctant to try this product again so Ill move on to another product.
