Great little amp.

Feb 8, 2015

I recently ordered this headphone amplifier mainly for our drummer to use at gigs as on several of the songs that we play, we use keyboard backing tracks and he plays to click tracks. We had been using a small guitar practice combo to run his headphones but were looking for something more compact to do the job and found this on the Thomann site at a really good price. One thing I was concerned with when ordering was that the supplied power adap... Show More

Great amp for the money

Mar 10, 2017

I bought this headphone amp for my project studio to send the headphone mic from my DAW to the live room for drummers and vocalists. It's proven to be very reliable and sturdy despite its low price. Pros: 1. Very strong metal housing. This is not some cheap plastic that will break easily. This unit can take a beating and it will still work like a champ. 2. Comes with detachable rubber feet that help the amp to stay in place and not... Show More

A true keeper!

I bought this headphone amp to replace the one that I misplaced, being a student I usually buy on a budget so this was perfect for me with the low costs but high quality product. Consider this if your looking for a headphone amp, you won't be disappointed. I have owned both this and the Behringer HA400 however prefer this product due to its more stable build, exterior protection and overall look. Highly recommended for those who need a simple qui... The Millenium HA 4 doesnt' have a lot of special features, but it does exactly what it should. Four headphones can be connect via stereo TRS to a single source, each of the channels has it's own dedicatedvolume knob. It's ideal for small recording sessions where you don't need different mixes for the performers. For little money you get a solid unit with easy-working volume pots and acceptable amplification. Of course you can't expect high end... Show More

Brilliant amp, does exactly what is required

Jan 6, 2015

I have my own home studio, although my mixer only had one output for headphones. I required a headphone amplifier and this caught my eye. It is very cheap and affordable, it allows for the input of four separate headphones. This is exactly what I needed, there is no sound quality lost through the use of this amp And each set of headphone's is given its own volume control. The unit feels sturdy and reliable. It comes ... It is very useful went you want to work with someone together for example when you are tracking or when you want to work silently on a project The thing is very robust with dials that just feel incredibly high-quality. Good Amp for the price

Dec 15, 2017

I bought it to use with my mixer in my rehearsal room. It's better than use a PA if your band is very loud. Now everyone has they own master volume knob and I can get rid of my drummer's loud noise with some insulated headphones. Heaven on Earth. PROS: It's very well build, metal case and rubber corners to avoid slipping away. The knobs are also good and it will work with 9V to 12V power supply (in case you lost the one that comes with it) ... Show More

Live and studio use

Feb 5, 2016

I've got a few of these that I use onstage to feed click tracks to myself and my drummer. I also use them in the studio to send monitor mixes to the players. Audio quality is great, and there's more gain available than you'll ever need. They're very well designed, the low profile and rubber end caps ensure they stay where you put them. I also have a few of the Behringer alternative, that aren't as well designed (I have to blu-tac t... Show More

This item does exactly what i says on the tin, I use it for band practices where each instrument is mic'd up and each band member can use this to adjust their own headphone volumes. This product feels very sturdy and will likely last a long time. The knobs also feel to be of a very high quality. I bought the Millenium HA4 because I needed a simple, budget and space-saving headphone amp for my home recording studio. The HA4 is just fine for this purpose. Even the manufacturing quality is worth mentioning, the metal box is stable and heavy enough to stay on its place. The potentiometers work fine and can be adjusted very easily, even after many weeks there is no change in working. I recommend this item to everyone who needs just a... Show More

Does the job but won't last

Aug 24, 2016

I use this for tracking bands. It usually gets put out in the middle of the floor and each band member plugs their headphones in. I don't need it to have particularly good sound quality for this purpose, just so long as the output is loud enough. And it is, plenty of headphone volume for a band in a room with a drum kit, but it does get a bit distorted. After a year or so one of the volume knobs lost contact on the inside so it would keep turni... Show More

I bought this unit to use for working on song arrangements, rehearsing instrumental parts etc at my friend's apartment. It feels very well built with a sturdy metal enclosure. It has 4 headphone channels with individual volume controls for each. The volume knobs have a nice solid feel to them too. The rubber surrounds on the ends stop it moving about if you place it on a table or other raised surface. I'm no hi-fi expert but the sound quality see... Show More

As in the title, around 25ยค for a 1-to-4 headphone amp, each with their own volume control. My main headphone amp is the Behringer Powerplay Pro 8 which is also superb for the price. But for extending one of those headphone outputs where the mix will be the same, this Millenium HA 4 is great. It is small portable and simple to use. I have two of these headphone amplifiers, this one and an older model. When you record songs with more than two peoples you really need them. Nov 5, 2014

I'm not an audiophile, quite the contrary, I feel that whole industry is full of voodoo and placebo. Nevertheless, plugging my Beyer DT-700 or Audio-Technica AT-M50 into this amp makes it sound like there's an 12 db/octave hipass filter @80 hz compared to just plugging the phones directly into my RME interface. Useless for judging lows when mixing, which I need headphones for in my small home studio. On the pro side this amp provides huge le... Show More

Millenium HA 4 Headphone Amp

Jun 1, 2016

To be quite honest, for twenty quid I wasn't expecting this unit to be that great. I only wanted something that I could plug a few sets of headphones into for monitoring. This headphone amp surpassed all expectations. It is sturdy and does everything I need it to. I use it with Samson headphones, (also bought from Thomann), when recording using Sonar Platinum - and this thing is LOUD !. There's tons of headroom with the unit, so make sure to turn all volumes fully off before using it for the first time. As usual from Thomann, the service and delivery time was exceptional.

Great small headphone amp

Nov 1, 2016

This is really great little headphone amp, especially when you are recording outside the studio and don't want to drag around some big and heavy amps. Pros: Provides clean enough signal and does get pretty loud, that's suprising for that kind of money. The box itself is pretty strong and the knobs feel good too, no wobbling So-so's: You can only feed in stereo signal - when plugging in mono jack, the signal will only come out from one side. Con's: The black rubber/plastic sides fall off quite easily. However some glue will fix that.

Decent quality for a good price

Feb 14, 2014

Regarding the low price, the good build quality and the satisfying sound, this Headphone Amplifier earns a very good overall rating. None of the potentiometers produce any cracking or disturbing noises, they work very smooth and the overall sound is very satisfying, I never really heard any loss in sound quality. I use this amp with Beyerdynamic Dt-770 250 Ohm headphones and there is still a huge loudness reserve in that amp. An ON/OFF switch would come in handy rather than pulling the powercable out.

Nice little tool

Jun 17, 2016

I needed a little amp to connect more than one headphone to my soundcard. It works well and without any trouble. The circuit isn't noisy and the build quality is fine. Little negative points: - the knobs are a bit wobbly, but nothing too bad - maybe it's just my unit, but the first knob starting position has a little offset compared to the other 3, it works fine tho, it's just an aesthetic defect Nice little plus: you can very easily remove the black side holders if you want to.
