Great Tripod ...
I needed a light weight but sturdy tripod to paint on. I put a palette shelf on the legs and attach an easel to the quick release and it works great. The legs are long enough that my shelf is 36 inches from the ground. It is sturdy enough to hold my artists supplies but light enough to carry with all my other supplies. It has worked great for me. ... I would recommend the 6601UT tripod and ...

Great Tripod for The Price
Bought this tripod for use on my Canon Vixia HF R42 camcorder. This tripod has several features that I did not expect for the price such as the level indicators or I guess you could say balance indicators and the different knobs for adjusting the position of your camera. There is also a knob that tightens up to keep your camera in whatever position you put it on. Overall, great tripod.

Great, especially for the price.
Can't beat the price on this one. I was surprised to find bubble levels built into the camera mount plates (which there were 2 of). It is well built and sturdy for a tripod of this price. Easy to set up and use. The pan movement isn't fluid smooth, but it's not horrible either. All in all, this tripod is worth more than what it actually costs.

I would buy this product again
I use the product for real estate photography. It has a low profile when not extended that allows me to place off-camera flash behind furniture and tight corners, and extends high enough to bounce light off of celings when necessary. Its lightweight and easy to use. Works as advertised. Solid inexpensive workhorse for working photographers.

Nice small tripod for the price
A definite upgrade from what I had before! Smooth and quick to operate, stable and some nice features, like a bubble level and an extra mounting shoe. My Nikon DSLR is near the maximum weight I would use with this, but it is great for my studio use. I only wish it were a couple inches taller, but for 99% of the time, it is perfect.

Tall and skinny!
If you want tall and skinny for light use and low cost, this one is a winner. Now you can't beat this up or use it at a pro level. It will not handle multiple set ups and take downs for very long at all. BUT, if you want to use it a home for a vlog or youtube etc. and you treat your gear with love. This can be a good unit for you.

Great tripod for the money.
This is a solid tripod for not a lot of money. All the adjusting parts work smoothly and it is light weight and easy to transport. I made a portable watercolor easel by attaching the extra mounting shoe to the bottom of a piece of plywood with a T-nut. Attached to the tripod, the easel surface works great for painting outdoors.

Great Tripod
I use this tripod to take photos of makeup for my website. I don't find that it's flimsy whatsoever though I have only used it on its shortest setting and it works perfect for what I need it for. It is a bit taller than I expected but I didn't measure anything out to check before buying, so that's on me. All in all, I love it!

Awsome - Great Quality, Low Cost
I ordered the tripod for use in the office, but once I saw it I need to order one for myself. As a photography student it will fit my need and my budget. Good quality, love that it has actual levels (like a carpenter's level) which will help me get a great shot without needing to rotate the image in Photoshop.

You get what you pay for...
I bought this because I just needed something to hold my Canon 7D still. For that purpose, it works fine. If you plan on doing ANY video work on this, I'd recommend to buy a better (more expensive) tripod. The pan/tilt is jerky, and clunky. It's the opposite of smooth. For holding a camera in place, it's fine.

I would buy again
This tripod is cost efficient, easy to transport on location (lightweight), comes with a second quick release head to interchange between video and camera(an unexpected surprise), has spiked feet for rough terrain and a leveler. The added bonus of the shoulder bag makes it a great value. I would buy it again.

Great and affordable!
This is a great tripod for lightweight to medium sized cameras. Easy to use and very affordable. Glad I chose this one! Now for under $, you shouldn't be too rough with it. In order for it to be so light, the materials used are not to be banged around, but I have not had any issues with it o far!

Don't Waste Your Money
I teach television production in a high school setting. Don't waste your money on these tripods. They are lasting max 2 months in my class before breaking. One of the biggest issues is the center breaks and the tripod legs can no longer close. The brackets also have been breaking on them.

for the money...can't be beat
this must be the golden age of tripods. This is a great little tripod at a great little price. The only drawback is that if you're using it in a enviroment with a lot of floor vibration watch out because it will transmit up to the camera. But hey, a this price what do you expect.

Bargain!
Im no expert on tripods, but this was an excellent deal for the price! I only use it to put my dslr cam on for video tutorials so there is not a lot of folding it and unfolding it or taking it outdoors. Only thing I wish is that it went up a little further, but it works for me!

Extremely impressed with the tripod and definitely love the price. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive an extra base and carrying bag. I have ordered a few times from B&H Photo Video and have not been disappointed in the quick delivery or the quality of my purchase.

Great price for a great product!
I use it for my compact lumix camera, it is sturdy and very easy to set up. It comes with two bases for the camera, useful if you've got two cameras. Its very light and smooth to open, close and extend, while everything also locks securely through the turn of a knob.

Amazing deal for the money!
Very pleased with this tripod. Sturdy with locking legs and full extension. It is not a high-end, heavy-duty model, but I wouldn't expect it for this price. This is a very good inexpensive carry-around tripod. It does just what I need for light impromptu shooting!

Solid stand
I was surprised at the strength for the buck. I do macro and the lens and camera is heavy. This tripod was perfect, and the price.....just right Oh,it even comes with an extra camera attachment for the head so you can leave it on the camera while switching out.

Excellent
I use this for portraits, as well as video of my children. It is easy to set up in a moment, is secure, and allows me to pan and tilt relatively smoothly. It comes with a nice case, and a second identical mount, which I think is a lot of value for dollar.

Sturdy & affordable for a medium tripod
I just got into landscape and night photography and this tripod does what I expect of it. It is also lightwieght so you can walk around quite a bit carrying this and your other equipment. I wouldn't recommend this if your equipment is heavy, however.

Good for the Price
This product I was pretty happy with, since it's not the most expensive one out there. It has a lot of plastic, but it's really stable and I would trust my camera on it. It secures on there well, and has two levelers to get great landscape shots.

Economic tripod
For basic tripod photography, this is a nice, lightweight, inexpensive tripod. Don't expect much on pan and tilt even for a consumer camcorder, but if you don't need to move much it's fine. For the price, for a 2nd tripod, it was hard to beat.

Out of the 4 tripods I bought for my classroom 2 have already broke in a month. The 2 that have broken a rubber piece has come off on the legs so the legs do not stay on or lock. Would think that they should last a little longer than a month!
