Disappointing
I purchased this organ module with high expectations. The module comes with a multitude of organ sounds. The only one that matters to me is an authentic Hammond B3 sound. Perhaps if I added in another effects pedal or a Leslie, it might work. The sounds on this module do not come close. I will be selling at purchasing a Roland VK.

Great Product!
I sold my B3 and Leslies, several years ago, when they got too heavy for me to move. Since then, I've used several keyboards with great organ voices, but always had to change patches to get the voice that I wanted. When changing patches in the middle of a song, there was a slight delay while the patch loaded. Withe the B4000, the voice can be changed on the fly, just like the B3. No manual was in the box, but readily available on the internet. Th... Show More

Love It
Sounds great and is pretty straight-forward to use. I wish it had dedicated controls for percussion, vibrato etc (like a real Hammond) but that would have probably driven the price up further.

I recomend the B4000+ for anyone wanting a B3 sound.
I found the B4000+ easy to setup. It sounds great going through a Leslie speaker. It gave me the B3 sounds that I was looking for, without having to purchase a whole keyboard organ. I found the control of the different parameters easy to use. It does not take up a lot of space. I use this with a MOTU Ultra lite midi interface to be controlled from different keyboard controllers. Using a volume pedal works well with this unit. I also like the display.

Excellent Engineering with that great Hammond B3 Sound
I highly recommend this Product. I am using a very inexpensive older 61 Key Yamaha Portable Keyboard with standard 5 Pin MIDI Jacks. I have the Ferrofish B4000+ connected to a 100 Watt Roland Keyboard Audio Amplifier with Stereo Input Jacks. Great Bass. I am also using it with a MIDI Pedal Board on Input B. I have been in eMail contact with Ferrofish and they have answered all my questions. A great Company in Germany with excellent support. They ... Show More

Very Good Organ Module
Pros: Exceptional build quality, excellent drawbar feel and organ tones with a rich set of adjustable parameters providing a wide array of very convincing classic organ sounds. Cons: Small screen/display (wish it could be larger and somewhat vertically oriented), it's somewhat tedious and error prone navigating menus/sub-menus to adjust parameters and select patches/banks on device. For a live, real time, playing situation you will absolutely nee... Show More

Tear it up with a mini B
I'll admit that I'm not a Hammond expert, but this module sounds great to me and will work well for my purposes. It beats taking my computer to church for a decent Hammond emulation. And we just don't have room in the worship team area for a B-3, so there you have it. And although I hate to spend money just as much as anyone, I don't find the price objectionable--generally, you get what you pay for, and this is worth the bucks.
