Solid Product but try to wait for sale.
As for the headset comfort itself, it is a bit tight and pressured but to some that is a good thing. Mind you I have a pretty big noggin. That being said not once did I find it overly discomforting to need to remove it in my several gaming hour sessions. If you don't care about sound quality, go for it.
These are not that great. I was expecting somewhat better sound quality for $100. The headphones are very weak sounding. When you put it in boost mode, it has that unbalanced sound when a bass sound kicks in where the treble frequencies pull back for a second and the bass overwhelms the sound stage until the bass goes away. Hinges are Fragile
One of my ear cuffs is now dangling like Connor McDavid - I was carrying them to another room and crack, the hinges snapped - my left ear cuff is hanging by a wire - still works - may try to super glue - but beware of those fragile hinges. Sound-wise they are fine - nothing magical. Microphones work well it seems - good controls on the set. Overall probably worth the $122 - but again the hinges should have been more robust rather than cheap thin plastic considering how they fold - a lot of wear and tear at that spot through time.

Great price and works seamlessly
This might be the best wireless headset I’ve bought for its price range. The wireless feature is very useful and works across almost all my devices, out-of-the-box, lag free. While the battery life isn’t the best, charging it is pretty easy and quick, so I can get back to gaming quickly. Surprisingly, it’s good for music but even better for gaming. It allows me to pinpoint enemies in games like Fortnite BR with ease. Definitely recommended for someone who wants an affordable, wireless headset.

Excellent for the price
I have a pair of expensive wired headphones, but since having a clingy newborn was finding the wires a pain, so decided to pick these up, expecting them to be functional for the price,but not the best.I’m actually really impressed.It took a while to get used to where the buttons are, but the sound is excellent and the chat very clear(you need to make sure you are wearing them the right way around though otherwise the built in mic will be behind you and your friends will complain you sound faint)

Superb
I use these with my Nintendo Switch, as well as my PS4. They come with input for a standard audio jack, as well as a USB dongle that's worked with everything I've thrown at it. Sound quality using the dongle is superb. There's an app on the PS4 (a free download), which allows you to store presets for use outside of the PS4 system. I love that they work wirelessly while charging. None of my other wireless headsets can seem to manage that. They aren't bluetooth though, so bear that in mind.

For me, the sound is not good
Connectivity is good, but sound and design are poor. Cable to charge the headphone is too small, not usable at all.When inserting the charging cable the ear cup moves up, so need adjustment after charging. Buttons are well places, but too tiny. Sound is not good (I have a wide range of headphone from cheap to very expensive), I would say that for me the sound is poor for the price range of this headphone. Weight are okay. Earcups are not leather, and they are not comfortable if you wear glasses.

Poor battery life!
Battery life is poor and theres no on screen warning like with the controllers. The headphones start by randomly cutting off the mic at one bar of battery and losing the connection to the ps4. The Virtual surround sound is virutally non existent! I didnt feel immersed at all and the large plastic ear muffs quickly became uncomfortable and made my ears sweat. I bought them as a present for my son he is much less demanding but he was upset when the mic started cutting out in his ps4 party chat.

Probably the best PS4 Headset.
I've been through countless headsets on the PS4 looking for one that ticks all the boxes, comfort, sound, style and most importantly wireless. All the ones I've tried I was disatisfied with until the Platinum. They're comfortable provided you wear them in a bit, the game sound is outstanding compared to others and the mic while very sensitive is clear and adaquate. Battery lasts around 10 hours. They last longer than the gold and are more comfortable and better sounding (2018 gold model).

Better than expected
So I watched reviews and while they said the sound quality is incredibly good which it is they said the mic is meh, the mic is actually better than the videos I watched say, I streamed myself so can actually confirm it. It's ridiculously comfortable and not once have a been annoyed by it. The design is sleek and cool and the sound quality is awesome especially with the surround it really helps in games! Over all of recommend these, cool design good mic, great sound and can keep them on hours!

Great sound for budget headphones
I bought these as a budget pair of headphones just for gaming. I found that I was able to use these with other devices. The virtual surround sound is great but only works on PS4. Other devices you attach the headphone jack that comes with it so useful with phone. Ok bass, great trebils and mids. These are wireless and are pretty easy to setup through the PS4 headphone companion app. if your looking for range forget about it as I could only get about 15-20ft away before the headphones cut out.

Amazing PS4 Headset
I purchased this Gold PS4 headset two weeks ago and since then, I've used it for around 80+ hours of game play on my PS4 Pro. The headset is extremely comfortable and the sound is amazing. Wireless connection via the USB dongle is perfect with no drops in connection. The charging cable is very short though and plugs into the rear of the PS4 PRO (or the front of a normal PS4) . But, a very well built bit of kit. I'd highly recommend for the virtual surround sound alone which will blow you away.

Great investment
Comfortable around the ears and lightweight. This is a marked improvement on the original 2.0 wireless headset. Well made and designed. Audio is crisp and clear, using the PS4 headset app on the console you are able to customise the types of sound to suit the type of genre game. Some games even have bespoke audio settings premade for you to add onto the headset. 3d surround sound really gives games a good depth. Fantastic Headset
Switched to these from Turtle Beach Stealth 520. Huge improvement. Sound quality is far better and they're much more comfortable over a long period of gaming. Was concerned about the lack of a microphone boom but there is really no issue, people can hear me very clearly. If anything it eliminates background noise. Have to recharge more often but can charge and play at the same time, it's not a huge problem. Plugged in one evening and they'll be fully charged for the next few gaming sessions.

Good quality looking headset
I got this headset to replace the turtle beach stealth 700 and have to say it is 10 times better the build quality is excellent and the sound quality is great especially with the Vss/3D sound. The mic is very strong so you may have to turn it down a bit as your friends like mine could hear themselves talking. The only bad points about it is you can’t go to far from the PS4 and it disconnects from the dongle and after a while it does start to hurt your ears. Other than that it’s fantastic

Connectivity, Sound Quality, Sorted!
Excellent quality headphones which sit right over your ears and very comfortably too. Connectivity with wireless dongle you plug into USB port 2 on the front of the PS4. Very quickly connects to your phones. Second way is to use the supplied 3.5 jack which you connect to your controller. The sound quality is excellent. Very clear and crisp and bass tones feel deep enough. The built in microphone, with its own mute button and volume control, is very good and hidden in the left earphone.

I’m amazed
Sound and build quality second to none. Absolutely amazing. I have watched three movies and played a few games with them and let me tell you, the 3D audio and 7.1 surround are mind blowing. Deep, clean bass and much better highs and lows compared to the cheaper alternative. I finally took the plunge and bought these after my THIRD Gold/Wireless 2.0 headset (in two years!) snapped at the hinge. These, in stark contrast, are of a heavy and comfortable build with no flimsy hinge. A+ love them.

Couldn't be happier!
Even though it took us almost 15-20 minutes to be certain the headphones were connected to our PS4, once we had 'em up and running we we're BOTH pleased from the get go! I work very early mornings & the other half loves to play games late at night so these were a perfect match for us. The sound quality is amazing and you almost forget you're even wearing em after a few minutes into your game. Could not be happier with these headphones and the speed I was able to purchase them through Argos.

Amazing sound quality, better than expected
I was a bit reluctant on gaming headsets and decided to bite the bullet and go for this head set, and it’s supperb, so much better than expected, really gives you the feeling you inside the game. So easy to set up and use too, littelry just plug in the usb sand switch on the headset and your on! Does push down on my ears a little and can be a bit annoying after an hour or two but that definitely wouldn’t push me away from buying this headset. And it looks stunning, and feels so durable.

A solid mid-range headset
A great headset but not perfect. The Bluetooth connection has a habit of dropping out for a second or 2 every now and then meaning you can miss important audio cues if playing competitive games. The headset is very comfortable, though it can start to pinch against your ears after a couple of hours. Battery life is 5 - 6 hours from my experience, but you can plug it straight into the Dualshock 4. Sound quality is very, very good. Build quality of the New Gold also feels extremely solid.

Good set but falls short
These have the 7.1 which is great and adds extra to your gaming. No Bluetooth on these so you can only connect to external sources via headphone jack. My set occasionally won't connect to the dongle when I switch them on so I have to get up and unplug the USB and reconnect. Sound quality is ok not the best. Cannot notice much diff with the different settings in the app feels more like a gimmick then anything else. If your a serious gamer I'd say invest in a better set and pay more.

Very good sound, slightly disappointing mic
The sound quality is very good and the 7.1 virtual surround works very well, but the bass is lacking somewhat. The headset is rather heavy which means it may become uncomfortable after a while, but at least for me this is very minimal. The mic is a little disappointing as it's not as good as other headsets available for a much lower price. That being said, to get a headset with the same audio quality as the platinums, as well as a good mic, you're looking at paying at least £200.
