Manfrotto 114MV Cine/Video Dolly for Tripods with Spiked Feet

UPC's:
Sweet dolly
If you have a Manfrotto tripod with spike feet, this is a great dolly. I use it with a Manfrotto 546B video tripod, and love it. The legs lock into the base, for a very secure connection. The cable guards on the wheels are easy to remove, for times when you're working on carpet or uneven surfaces. They snap on securely and allow for smooth rolling on flat surfaces, and act like a plow to push aside lighting cables you may have on the floor, to av... Show More

Yes I would buy this product again and a
Before I've decided to purchase this dolly, I went thru' all the comments available on this item from B&H They were all positive. But what I discovered the most interesting is that, owing a (Vinten) tripod, I wanted to compare this dolly with the more expensive model from Vintenl. They seemed to have the same features. Not only that, they both had the same 114 number in their Model No. So, thanks to B&H, I was able to make an excellent choice with ... Show More

Built Like A Tank
You really can't destroy these things. They are well-built and work very well for shooting situation that require moving the camera often. I had a large production at multiple facilities that require moving the camera from point to point over the course of the day. The first shoot I carried it around and by the end of the day, couldn't move my arms anymore. This was a lifesaver. It's expensive, but if you have a 20lb+camera rig, it is well worth ... Show More

Great Dolly. sturdy
I shoot wedding videos and a dolly is a must. it's great for getting track shots and from moving quickly from one location to another. This is a much more sturdy stable dolly than the Manfrotto 3 inch I have. My camera crashed to the grounds because it tipped over on the 3 inch wheel dolly. No problems with the 5 inch. Unfortunitely, not all bogan tripod legs fit snuggly in the grips (tend to wobble) so you may need to add a little duck tape to t... Show More

Great Event Production Dolly!
Creative Video Services is a video production company serving corporate clients with single-to-multi-camera coverage. This dolly has been a work horse for us over the years, and, while our original is still in use, we needed an additional one. The only modification we made to the dolly is removing the cable guards since they make crossing cables in make-shift studio environments difficult. Otherwise, the large wheels make repositioning the camera across cables pretty easy. We look forward to years of use to come from our new purchase!

First Moses........and now this !!
Purchased this dolly and replaced the casters with ones with a 6 pneumatic tire and rolls perfectly for use on board boardwalks. Nice part about this dolly is that the tripod sockets are large enough along with a secure clamping mechanism to take the legs of a Gitzo #4542 holding up a 500mm lens for birding etc. Very well made and easy to collapse for transportation. Very secure and positive to hold up $ worth of equipment safely.

Awesome, as always
As always, I am impressed with the quality of Manfrotto's equipment. I have the MA114 Dollies for my Jib Arm and I am impressed how the large 5 casters and the wide wingspan allows easy movement. With that said, I had to purchase a similar Dollie for my other Manfrotto sticks. I almost purchased one with 3 wheels but glad I kept looking. Then I found this one. COOL!!

Using The Dolly with a Jib
I am a camera operator and have a 7' jib I have used for years on a Manfrotto tripod. Every time I would need to reposition the jib it required a lot of effort to pick it up and move it. The Cine Dolly makes it so much easier to move it around If you have either a crane, jib or heavy camera rig I would recommend this. It also easily locks into position.

Great Bargain...great piece of gear!
This dolly is a great addition to my video equipment in terms of mobility, usefulness and ease of use. Just takes a few minutes to set-up. Very solid, fluid movement...built to last. I highly recommend this dolly to shooters that need a mobile shooting platform for small moves and also rolling from one shot to another. Wish I had bought it sooner!

Great!
We really like these dolly wheels. They work with our O'Connor 35L, Sacthler, and Cartoni legs. They are smooth, very sturdy and the cable guards around the wheels do a good job pushing bnc out of the way. Considering the mega $$$ that some of the manufactures want for their rolling dollys, this is a great deal on a great unit.

No thanks
I need a dolly to move a full sized camera on a tripod for studio work. Even with the wheels turned out and locked, there is a lot of play. It was too wobbly for me to use for pan or tilt tripod shots. I returned it and bought the Leibec DL-3. It is rock solid and a lot less money.

Amazing!
This dolly completely exceeded my expectations. It rolls smoothly on multiple services and works extremely well for moving shots that aren't on grassy or rocky surfaces. My Manfrotto tripod attaches in seconds, which is a huge plus. Minus off-road shots, this thing is fantastic.

Good for studio
I purchased two of these for my studio (High school teacher). Make moving the cameras a lot easier. They glide across the floor. Please note that they have two different models. The 114 and the 114MV depending on which type of legs your tripod have...

Just right
Does a great job transporting my gear on the field ( I do events) , sturdy , well built and excellent brakes ,not too heavy , a real nice piece of equipment. Nevertheless make sure your tripod fit it , is not a one fits all kind of dolly.

Good Stuff
Heavy duty construction. I use it with my Jib with about 175 pounds and it does the job ! (According to Manfrotto load capacity is 60 pounds) Cheap Plastic pumper will dry soon or later and will be no longer usable but may takes years...

Excellent Product
Used for dolly Cine runs as I don't have a track. The wheels are smooth and the build is very solid while not being too heavy. This is a great product. Look into this for tripods with double spiked feet.

We use this dolly for a jib. It rolls like glass and locks in place very easy. Right out of the box we had it set up with the jib on it in minutes.

A MUST HAVE in your filmaking arsenal. The large 5 wheels allow easy movement of my camera rig even across uneven surfaces.

Good
The only issue is the plastic pumper footings, I wish they were made of a stronger material.
