Did not expect that kind of a killer sound from Mackie! Wow!!
I have JBL EONS 610 which I use for average size rooms and they do fine job. Lately I had few jobs where rooms got much bigger and 610s just werent loud enough to cover what these rooms needed. So after hearing few advices from some professional people I got pair of new 12A Mackies and at first gig was simply blown away! I thought there was nothing better than JBLs. Boy was I wrong! I just bought a pair of these for keyboard monitors. They sound amazing and only weigh about 30 pounds!! VERY clear and powerful. I replace a pair of Roland KC 550s (72 lbs each), and much prefer these. No hype...just a nice linear frequency response.
