this is my first electric guitar, so far so good. I do not have anything to compare it to. But, the quality of the guitar seems very good in its price range and the amp is good for basic practice and learning. As other reviews that I have read stated that the cord to the amp is very cheap, you may want to think about ordering a good one when you buy this bundle.
