Excellent Quality - Just what you are fo

Jan 9, 2014

I play keyboard and wanted a portable, yet durable pedal for extra versatility in my playing. I originally bought a Roland DP-2 pedal, but that was way too light, small, and awkward. I returned it and bought the FC-5 instead. It has a very strong build and is heavy enough that it won't slip around under your feet. The rubber grips on top and bottom help it stay in position and is the perfect height that you can feel in when you need it, rather that kick it away from you. Love it!

Doesn't work with my Casio CTK-2090

Jan 28, 2015

The pedal is well made and stays in place under your foot. The polarity is not correct for my Casio CTK-2090 keyboard. It works in reverse. It sustains when not depressed and doesn't sustain when depressed. Some pedals have a switch to reverse polarity. This one doesn't. Some keyboards can switch the polarity. Mine can't. I've since ordered a Casio sustain pedal which is compatable with my keyboard. The bottom line is this is a great product for the right keyboard. My bad!

basic, functional - I own 2

Mar 7, 2011

I've had one of these for maybe 5 years already, and bought a second one to go with a second keyboard. The one I've had longer still works just fine, though the rubber on the top likes to pop out of the pedal at one corner. And the whole thing slides around the floor a lot. Overall - totally functional, nothing fancy. Obviously would buy another one, because I did!

Works Great

Aug 22, 2010

I use it as a punch pedal for a DAW controller. It stays in place and operates precisely and noiselessly. I plugged it into the channel switch input on my guitar amp, and it went to the lead channel for as long as I kept the pedal depressed; kind of funny. I assume it would work fine for my keyboard, too, but I've already got an M-Audio SP-2.

Good product for the price

Apr 26, 2010

This is a very functional foot pedal and at the price does exactly what you want, sustain or as a switch in any music software situation! I've been happy with it's feel. It's small so doesn't take up much space if you're using it on the move. I do like some of the bigger pedals more but again, you can't beat a good priced product.

Doesn't get any better than this

Feb 25, 2010

I use 2 of these in conjunction with my Alesis drum machine. They are very well made, non slip rubber pads on both top & bottom. Made out of steel, should last a long time. I have owned others that were plastic and they didn't last. I have used other metal ones that cost twice as much and were no better. .... Look no further.

Using as Punch In/Out Footswitch

Sep 2, 2010

I use this as a Punch In/Out controller for my Tascam DP-008 recorder. It works fine with my recorder. I have also tried it as a sustain pedal with my Yamaha keyboard, but remember that it will not act as a damper pedal, it will only turn on or off your built-in keyboard sustain function.

FC5 - Foot Switch

Aug 5, 2010

I bought these for my wife's Yamaha Drum pads. They work great. They have a little weight to them, so they stay in place better than the other ones she had. We have no cons about these switches so far. They do the job

Thin pedal but gets the job done

Jan 26, 2015

I bought this pedal to use with my MOXF8. I was originally going to buy the bigger pedal but decided to go with this one because its easier to pack when gigging.

I picked this pedal up to use with my MG12XU mixer for my Twitch stream! It works like a charm and allows me to active effects with just a tap of the foot.

Good Pedal

Feb 18, 2014

Good pedal for price. Obviously not for piano players who are learning because it does not mimic an actual piano pedal but good for beginners.
