Sturdy, High Quality Tripod
I needed a sturdy, well built, tripod capable of taking low macro shots, yet have the extended height required to accommodate my 6'3" frame. This tripod meets all my requirements, is rock solid, and well engineered. The ball head, in particular, is a joy to use. A little heavy, but worth it!

Big Step Up
I went from a MeFoto to this big fella. A little heavier, but I like that. I don't feel like a farting mosquito will knock it over. My main reason for selecting this model was the pan/tilt head and it is like butter! So happy with my selection and investment. It is the envy of all my peers.

Great Head!
I am very impressed with this ball head! It is very secure and holds very well. The tension control does not slip and is great! I also like the new camera plate design. For the price, you can't ask for more. It is a little taller than I expected, but that is not an issue. This one is a BUY!

Great Tripod for the money
Medium duty, quality built. I especially like the easy of the 90 pivot system. No tools, no "unscrewing" and parts. Feels sturdy. The pan tilt head is a nice alternative to my much larger and more expensive Manfrotto geared head. Great kit for the price for a portable unit / kit.

Great Tripod for the price
I run a wedding videography business, and this is my go-to tripod. For the price, the build quality and flexibility in setup can't be beat. About my only (minor) criticism is that you need to keep a little lubricant on the center piece, as it gets a little sticky when the humidity is high.

Great pan-tilt head for the price
Love it. Haven't actually taken any photos yet, but played with it. Seems high quality, metal mostly, made in Italy thankfully. The friction knobs are invaluable. They make it smooth enough to pan and tilt the head and have it stop when you stop, and not go back a little. Would buy again.

Great Product
This is a very nice tripod head, especially for shooting in portrait mode. It is a bit heavy, but that is due to the quality build. I bought this head specifically for shooting portraits and it performs nicely. The adjustment knobs are easy to grip and secure the head, it stays in place.

Versatile and well built tripod
I purchased this tripod in time for holiday photo opportunities. It made family portraits a much easier task than usual. The ability to position it in various heights and angles in a sturdy manner made me feel very confident that my SLR was safe from hitting the floor (unlike last year)!

Sturdy and easy to use
The tripod is very sturdy and easy to use. The kit also includes the 3 way head and the bag, all in good quality. Although the aluminum is slightly heavier than the carbon fiber, it's just 0.5kg difference. Would recommend this to anyone who does not need to carry it to travel every day.

Worth every penny
Upgraded my meFoto tripod to the Manfrotto 190X aluminum tripod - what a HUGE difference in the stability and security of my camera (shoot with a Canon 6d, Mark ii). It is heavy, but for the price/security, it is worth it. I would absolutely recommend this tripod to other photographers.

Great Tripod
I'm a videographer in Nashville and have been needing a more stable tripod. I picked up the Manfrotto a few days ago and it's been excellent. Every option is available you may need. To hight adjustments and tilting and panning. The balance bubbles are also great. I highly recommend it!

Best head you'll ever get!
The Manfrotto head is preatty much the best you can buy for your money. I recently graduated from college, and we had Manfrotto heads with Calument legs, and those tripods literally got beaten up student after student and they never failed, and now, it hasn't failed me. Great product!

Rock solid platform.
I have been searching for a tripod that would allow me the greatest flexibility for the multi uses I need. This one fits the bill perfectly. You will not be disappointed. Buy this with confidence. Also B&H photo, great business , fast shipment, answered any question I had. Thank you!

Sturdy and stable, a great improvement over the previous version
After I received this unit I realized that I already had a 055XPROB and was ready to return it for credit. Not so fast! The 055XPRO3 is a greatly improved unit and does not even compare with it's new features and design. The channeled legs, locks and overall sturdiness are worth it.

rebate fraud
The rebate offer from Manfrontto is a fraud. They waited 3 months before mailing a letter saying I didnt send the bar-code. But, I absolutely did send EVERYTHING they they wanted. I have the empty box with the missing bar-code cut from box. DONT BELIEVE THEY REBATE OFFERS. RIP-OFF.

Solid Performer
This is a solid, well made piece of equipment that is relatively easy to use. Bought it for landscape and wildlife work. Not for backpacking as it is large and bulky, but that comes with the territory when your are looking for a stable platform for time exposures and long lens use.

Ballhead locker broke with one use
I bought this head in an emergency because the other Manfrotto head I've bought also broke with a few photo shootings. The first day that I used the locker broke and the head don't move. Sending both to repair and rush to get another head to be able to work. Extremely disappointed.

What a range of motion
Simply great, very precise and accurate, well engineered 3 way head. This head is very compact and light weight yet has a extremely large range of motion, its easy to use and quick so you dont miss a shot. The entire Head is well constructed and solid all around for great photo's.

What an upgrade
Ive been doing real estate photography for about a year now. My previous tripod, also carbon fibers, was a four section device. Very cumbersome to adjust the height. This unit is much easier to raise and lower. The ball head is considerably better in every way. Highly recommended.

Just what I was looking for
The tripod gave me the stability I was looking for to support my Fuji 100-400 mm lens on an XT-1. And the 3-way head provides the flexibility with lock down security that I wanted. Yes, I wish it were lighter and collapsed to shorter length, but tough to get it all in one package.

Great product and value
Very sturdy and lives up to the Manfrotto reputation of being a great product. Great feature of the extension arm which give some additional height. Everything is built solid and would certainly purchase another if the need arises. Always get the best deals and products from B&H.

Rock-solid tripod!!!
I've tried many different tripods, and I always go back to Manfrotto. This is one solid tripod! I love the options with the 3-way pan/tilt headquick and keeps its position. This is my third Manfrotto product, and I'll continue to stay with this manufacture. Fantastic product!

Sturdy and tall
I purchased this tripod because of it's quality and height without extending the center post. It was the perfect choice. I shoot Nikons (D500 & D850) with the grip and "L" bracket. I added the Oben BC126 ball head and the viewfinder is perfect eye level. Thank you Manfrotto!
