Easy to use!
Great product, easy to set up, sound is clear and good volume - very useful. Only 4 for design as it constantly has to be plugged in - would be better if it was rechargeable.

Great device
I ordered this when it was in the sale and glad I did. The echo answers questions, plays music, tells stories...not much it doesn't do. My only disappointment is the you have to pay a fee for Amazon music as I haven't yet mastered how to play individual songs or albums for free. I would definitely recommend this product and I will be purchasing the dot the near future.

Great sound
We already have an Amazon Dot which we love so bought the Echo for the kitchen. The sound is very good better than the small one but lots of bass.

Still playing with it
Bought for a forgetful 80 year old. I finally managed to get ‘Alexa’ to play a specific radio station at 8:45am every day, and twice a day, remind my friend to take his tablets and which ones to take. I tried all of this with voice commands-a waste of time :-) but if you go into the Echo app and into reminders or alarms or routines then you can set up a speech pattern or routine to do every day. I’m now trying to get Alexa to clean his toilet and do the washing up but she’s having none of it :-)

The Amazon Echo is great
So pleased with the Amazon Echo. The speaker is really good. Really useful , as you can set reminders for shopping lists, taking tablets, set alarm for cooking etc. Music trial is great too.

its ok but
Google speaker have much better sound and for some reason google speaker can detect you instantly where Alexa ( have 7 microphones) is struggling and simply ignore me

I bought this for my elderly mum, I set it in Italian language, all I needed for her was to know the time as she cannot see very well and to know what day is as she often forgets, very pleased with it.

It’s ok
I bought my 2nd gen Echo in Argos, Whitley Bay. Looks and sounds awesome. I brought it to Bahrain & it took me a while to run it. I also have difficulty hooking up to Spotify music. The set up is stuck to amazon but not also working. I’m still trying to figure out how I can connect my home electronics to it. I am now will try to hook it up with Apple Music.

Amazon echo 2nd Generation great product
Bit hard at first to set up and know what Alexa understands, but once up and running UK and Oz Radio Stations all work and great sound from such a small unit very impressed. Thanks to Argos Wembley Central for easy order and pick up.

Amazing sound replaced all my cd's
If like me you only like a few tracks on an album you can just pick your fav tunes and "add to your playlist " . Have donated all my cds to charity and Just ask Alexa to play. Check the weather...ask about films people whatever you would normally Google Alexa has decluttered and streamlined my life Totally recommend

Love this Alexa next generation,
No need to google just ask Alexa. Kids love it I love it and wouldn’t be without it. We have a game every night after dinner with the kids while we’re cleaning up from dinner (question game) for all ages. Weather, spellings and homework just ask Alexa

The Amazon Echo is just amazing..!
Very clever gizmo and coupled with Amazon Prime or Amazon music service and the free phone app it's already become part of our everyday life in just 2 weeks. You tube has loads of short hints videos on how to get the best out of it.

2 DJs in da house
After 40/45 years of DJing I find a rival in the form of Alexa but the difference is I have a load of gear to switch on then cue vinyl,/CDs/Mp3s before a sound is heard but she does it with just a 'word in her ear'. Amazing bit of kit with music and radio on demand and also a plethora of other tasks at your disposal subject to the required technology being present. Bizarrely I find myself being extremely polite to an electronic device and she responds...just bonkers!

Fiddle to set up - but then great!
A bit on the fiddly side to connect, but when this is done, the Echo is great. Well worth paying a few pounds a month for unlimited Amazon music.

Good design, looks good in my kitchen.
I love my Alexa, I can ask her to play my playlists, radio, any song at all from my Spotify, make shopping lists and to do lists then view them on my phone, get time checks, weather forecasts and much more.
