Great tripod for the money.
I found it a solid and versatile tripod for my D5000. I can quickly set up for a shot with the quick release plate and single action ball head. The carry strap that comes with it is a nice extra and makes it easy to carry.

Kudos to B&H for the christmas sales
Here's to targeted ads. I mean it. This tripod showed up in an ad and it just so happened that I have a fotog friend who used one during our last shoot. an impressive and simple to use and setup tripod, the AC-1441 is also lightweight, sturdy, strong and quite adjustable. the head is very versatile and allows for 360x180-degree flexibility. the only drawback for me is no pointed feet for natural terrain. (I did not see an option for the metal-pointer feet.) Still a great buy, IMHO.

Oben Oh Boy
Great tripod at a perfect price. Easy to level and the quick clips work slick. I love the fact you can turn the reciever upside down for close up photography and hang a weight bag on it for stability. Perfect.

Head over Heels...
I love, love this ball head. The ball head that came with my tripod was way too small to support the weight of my camera and zoom lens. This ball head combined with the L bracket (also purchased from B&H) work perfectly together. I am happy with my purchases. BTW, B&H customer service is A-1 with me!
