Great big bang for the buck
The head movements are smooth. The height is perfect for a taller man like myself. I hate bending over to take a photograph. For the price, this is am amazing tripod. As we all know Manfrotto has always been about quality.

Poor pan/tilt motion, not fluid
If you need a cheap tripod, you can go cheaper than this and get a similar quality. I bought this thinking I could get fluid pan/tilt motion, but it wasn't smooth at all and not workable for a video I was shooting. I went back to using my old Rocketfish tripod (that has a leg fastener that's loose, hence my search for a new tripod), which is much sturdier.

Best bang for your buck
Looked at a lot of tripod and this one stuck out as the best bang for my buck. Didn't want to spend too much but I wanted quality and that's just what I got.

Great
I went in the store looking for a good sturdy beginner tripod and thought I needed one that was over $ but I came in the store and they helped me choose this one and it was so much more affordable and perfect for me. I love it so much! And the color

Could not be happier
I honestly couldn't have been happier with this tripod. It sturdy, lightweight, and the head is very, very smooth.

Very nice tripod for the money.
For our use it will mostly stay in studio setting with some occasional out door use, but it appears built well with a lot of adjustment. I love it. Comes with a nice carrying bag and folds up nicely.

Great General Purpose Tripod
A quite sturdy and versatile tripod for supporting medium-weight camera equipment. I use it with the Nikon D750 and 24-120 mm AF-S FX zoom lens (3+ pounds combined weight). Very good tripod functionality. Collapses to a relatively compact size so that it can be taken on trips without problems. Tripod extends to bring the camera up to eye-level height of a standing person (average size). The center column permits easy fine adjustments of camera he... Show More

Very good for the price
I have tried a number of travel tripod and they all had some shortcomings, which this tripod overcomes. This tripod from Manfrotto is a little bigger but very lightweight. It extends enough to shoot at eye level and even though it is very lightweight, it is still sturdy. I bought because the brand is reliable, the price is a bargain and the quick locks and quick mount plate makes setting up the tripod fast. And even though it is so lightweight, it seems to last.

excellent, very small and light weight tripod yet can carry big and heavy camera with lens attached. so much easy to carry it along with the camera and set of lenses. I usually travel with my little kids and too much gear that sometimes i had to give up on my heavy tripod. no more!

Very nice tripod
Very lightweight, easy to carry, has its own bag. I use it with a Canon Rebel camera. It is very easy to learn how to attach it and it has a quick release that works well. It is also very stable to be as lightweight as it is. I have used it in windy conditions and it has worked well and remained very steady.

Best quality to price tripod in the market
I use this tripod for landscape photography, so I'm always concerned about the weight, total height (min 65), and folded height (so I can fit it inside my backpack, since it has 4 segment legs). I use it with an A7r + 15-35mm or 70-200mm lenses. And although this tripod is made out of aluminum, it actually weights less than many carbon fiber tripods, which are a lot more expensive. It supports up to 6lbs, so its perfect for my gear which remains ... Show More

Good For the Price
This would make an excellent travel tripod as it's very lightweight and compact. For the type of work I do I would prefer if the legs were a bit sturdier, but all in all it's a good tripod.

Very nice and compact unit.
Easy set up, everything is ready to go. Just install on tripod and your ready to go. The MH804-3W is a firm unit, no play when rotating different levers.

Does what it needs to
I use this tripod to take product and marketing shots. It took me a while to find a decent one -- this was my third try. So far, I am very happy with it. However, there are a few things that could be improved upon. It is very light weight and has the ability to easily rotate and go from landscape to portrait quickly. But the plate that attaches the camera to the tripod comes loose quite often. Other than that, my only complaint is that there is n... Show More

Compact and Sturdy
When I bought this tripod I was a little bit hesitant do to its size. All those worries were proven wrong on my first field test of this surprisingly tough tripod. I took this tripod up to the mountains over thanksgiving for some snowy star photos fully expecting to run into a plethora of issues I was sure it would not be able to preform at the same level of its big brothers. Wrong! This tripod while at times slightly difficult to maneuver worked... Show More

Perfect without too much wind
I buy this tripod for my Canon EOS760D. It's a very good product but not very stable when full deployed.

Great Product!
I've always loved Manfrotto equipment. Always built tough. I purchased this head to allow my complete assembly to fit in a shoulder bag. The extendable handles push in just enough to fit. I purchased this one over a cheaper foldable handle Manfrotto due to having a security button on the quick release. Very satisfied :)!

Easy to move and use!
I use this for my film classes in undergraduate school. I love it! It is so light and easy to move to any location (which can definitely be a struggle in the LA area). It even came with a little bag to tote it around in! Would definitely buy another product like this again.

GREAT LOW-PRICED TRIPOD
I use the tripod mainly for night and travel photography. It is a great low-priced tripod and very easy to maneuver. It is great to use and bring around with you. For the compact and lightweight aspect it is great for the price. I know how expensive carbon fiber can get. But overall this was a great tripod.
