Nice little head
It works, not very sturdy but pretty light. Made of plastic resin, not metal. Good match with my carbon fiber small Manfrotto tripod. Retractable handles are a nice touch, makes it more compact for transporting.

Solid Tripod
For the price, you can't beat the quality of the tripiod. Very solidly built like an Manfrotto tripid. My only issue with this tripod is the slightly peculiar (to me anyway) dual pan/tilt bars. I'm still adjusting to it, but it's quite odd.

Good tripod, with a component to be aware about.
It's a good tripod for lighter DSLR's, but the compact part of it, where there are two levers on the side, don't hold up too well for heavier DSLR's. In fact, I found them really annoying in general because the tripod kept falling over to it's side. I would recommend getting a different tripod.

Better than expected
I needed a fairly sturdy tripod to replace the kit tripod that came with the camera. I wanted something light that folded up fairly small for travel. When I received it, it was a little heavier than I anticipated but way more sturdy. It is perfect for my crop sensor Nikon, which is a lightweight setup even with the zoom. It may not be great for a big full frame camera with big lenses, but it's 6.6 pound capacity is plenty for me. It is rock solid and easy to set up, plus, when fully extended the camera is above eye level and I'm 6'3.

Compact and lightweight
Works great for my Olympus OM10 camera. Lightweight and compact size make it very suitable for hiking for photo shoots in remote locations.

I would recommend this
I like that this has the Manfrotto logo on it. I've seen a couple online that says it is Manfrotto but it does not have the logo.

Great lightweight tripod for travel and ease of setup
I bought this tripod to use with my 15x50 binocular.I have 6year and 4year old grandsons who like to view moon, juster and galaxies using this bino. The tripod is easy to set up . I am able to adjust height and elevation to make it comfortable for the little guys. Loads of fun. The tripod is not meant for use under windy conditions.

Exactly what I wanted - sturdy enough for a DSLR with lens but lightweight enough to carry around!!

Travel Tripod
Recommended by staff at B&H - have used only once at home for some macro shooting. I find it a bit on the heavy side even though only 3 lbs. Where I am headed I need that solid footing. Will add more when I return

Great tripod for traveling! Easy to use!
I researched a lot before investing in a tripod. I wanted something that would be easy to use, affordable (!), and still great quality. I've only had this tripod for a month or so now, but I absolutely love it. It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and it provides all the great support and stability I need to shoot photos for my health and wellness business, including food photography and on-location shots. I also love how compact it is, makes it so great for traveling!

Inexpensive, quality tripod
As I am just beginning my journey into photography, I naturally wanted a tripod to match with my Sony a6300. I was looking for something that was compact, light, and wouldn't completely break the bank. Sure, a carbon fiber tripod is going to weight 3x or more less than an aluminum one, but you'll be paying 3x times more. This tripod is sufficiently light, portable, and sturdy enough to meet any tenderfoot photographers needs. I carried it around ... Show More

Happy with my Manfrottos
Used it recently on a hike/ photo shoot, and loved the fact that it was light weight/compact, the legs were easy to set up and it offered a good height with stability for my Nikon D7000 and 18-105 lens. Will see how it handles a heavier lens .Still getting use to the adjustment handles which are a bit cumbersome, but should be fine with more use. Fits nicely in its own carry case.

Strong dang head
I have owned this for several months and haven't had any problems. Love this one. Then the other night I was photographing on the streets of Chicago and was headed back to my hotel. I had my camera on my tripod carrying it on my shoulder. Someone came out of a dark alley and and tried to push me down and he grabbed my camera. We got into quite a tug a war. At any moment I was waiting for that camera to break free of the tripod but it never did. Dang thing took a beating and held on tight. It is a strong secure tripod head and I feel comfortable securing my camera equipment on it.

The perfect lightweight Tripod
I wanted a backup tripod that wouldn't weigh me down on long hot hikes at the beach in Florida. Works great with my Sony A6300, swivel is smooth for taking videos. This tripod is amazingly sturdy and well built, Manfrotto tripods rock!

Always quality
This is a great tripod head. I gave this a 4 out of 5 because I am not sure I like the hideaway handles.

Total disappointment
This might work for photographers, but if you're a videographer looking for smooth camera movements and adjustments, this head IS NOT for you. Terrible friction-like feel and short stubby handles make it impossible to have a smooth control of your movements. Will never buy again.

Great Compact tripod
This tripod is perfect for my use in real estate photography. It does't take up much room in my car and I can adjust to almost any height to get the shots that I need. It seem sturdy and well constructed.

Exact Match
I needed an extra quick-release plate for a new telephoto lens and the one I received from B&H was an exact match to the quick-release plate that came with my original tripod head!! Very satisfied.
