This was exactly what I was looking for to use with my Roland R05 field recorder! The guys in the audio department help me figure out what I was looking for in order to record from a lav directly into my R05. This lav is great and has a wonderful sound! Very clear and has a pleasingly warm tone!

The mics definitely cut down on the fabric interference but it's no where near perfect. I don't think any mic can completely cut out fabric noise. Placement is everything. They do sound better than the stock mics that came with our mic packs and the assortment of mounting clips will help with most situations. I've found that taping the mics without clips works the best under clothing.

I just purchased this Tram mic as a replacement for another Tram that I have used for 7 years. The TR50 is a solid mic. Our last one died after using it on an exercise video. It must have got sweat on the mic head and stopped working. We have used the TR50 in a wide array of production work.

These R50 Ominidirectional Lavaliers are quickly becoming the workhorse of the industry because of its great professional sound and ability to generate less 'fabric ruffle noise' than most regular lavaliers.

It's the only mic system I trust-- wind & rubbing are virtually undetectable. I use this system for indoor TV broadcasts, outside interviews, & weddings. Perfect for all situations. I'll never look elsewhere.

I bought this to replace/supplement the ME2 that came with my Sennheiser G3 wireless set. Sound quality is exceptional, and the included accessories make it a great value for a top-notch product.

Strong, resonant sound that is very good for interviews, depending on the subject's own voice quality. If you're looking for a brighter sound, this is not the mic to use. Also comes with several clips. Overall, very good quality for the price. Only downside is you usually need to boost the volume.

We have been using Tram TR50 lavs for years. These microphones are sturdy, easy to attach and provide great audio. The design is simple and unobtrusive. There is a reason these are the industry standard for lavalier microphones.

I had my mic for about 4 1/2 years. The quality is great and is built really well. Don't cut costs and go cheaper this mic will make it's money back 10 fold. the accessories are great and the case is perfect.

Have been a Tram fan for years. I have lately been using a Sony mic, but wanted to go back to Tram because it is much easier to conceal under clothing with the accessories provided. Can't think of any negative points other than my last one wore out after maybe 10 years of use!

TR50s have a great and well deserved reputation. I have a few that always performed really well. Unfortunately the last one I bought had a defective battery that 'exploded' overnight and damaged its casing. I don't know if Tram now makes those casing less sturdy then in the past, but now when I'll buy another one (and I will) I'll make sure to have a spare mic just in case. Anyway, thanks to the fantastic B&H return policy and employees, I had no trouble whatsoever to return the damaged mic.

Worth the upgrade for the Sony transmitter. I've used Tram lavs for years now in interview situations, and their sound profile just can't be beat for such a tiny package. The best part is all of the accessories for mounting the mic just about anywhere you can think of.

If you are looking for professional sound this is a great product for the price. I really like the sound quality, even better than my Sanken 11D which I paid more. It comes with necessary accesories and compact case.

As the owner of a small production company, I found the mic to work very well and the price is good. However, it is the second mic I have had to order as the first one broke after only a year of limited use (a month after the warranty expired).

This mic is a great option for hard-wiring. With the Feds recently limiting bandwidth, it has become more difficult to use wireless cavaliers when traveling. Having a reliable hard-wired mic in your kit is a must.
