This mic is a great option for hard-wiring. With the Feds recently limiting bandwidth, it has become more difficult to use wireless cavaliers when traveling. Having a reliable hard-wired mic in your kit is a must.

Have been a Tram fan for years. I have lately been using a Sony mic, but wanted to go back to Tram because it is much easier to conceal under clothing with the accessories provided. Can't think of any negative points other than my last one wore out after maybe 10 years of use!

Nice complement to the Lectrosonic 100 unit. You have to treat with care the microphone cable, it is fragile, and it will short if twist and turn.

Use as a lavalier mic for on camera talent. Easy to hide with lots of mounting options. My favorite is the vampire teeth mount. Great audio quality - no tin can sound. Voices are true and deep.

Use this for cooking demos with chefs. The cable is thicker and yet more supple than the black version-should be the standard for Tram. Great low end response with a warm sound.

Only sanken 11 is better, because is more sensitive and you dont have to push the preamp ,which can cause some noise, like speech sound tram has warmer sound which I like

Clean sound, came in a nice case with a few useful attachments, including a wind cover and vampire clip. Easily fits into my Sennheiser G2 unit and works perfectly.

I bought this to replace a Sony lav that bit the dust. I had used the Tram previously with Lectrosonics and forgot how much smoother they are over the Sony's. Highly recommended
