Induro CLT204 Classic Series 2 Stealth Carbon Fiber Tripod

Strong and lite !
Although it just arrived yesterday this is one sweet tripod. Appears to be a very durable , and I think it's going to be a pleasure to use on any backpack trip. I purchased the Sirui K-20X head to mount on this and have no doubt that will be a great combination for even my largest camera -lens combination.

Lightweight, but sturdy Tripod
Being a small woman and slight build, I needed a sturdy tripod for my outings, but one that I could also handle and carry. This carbon Fiber Tripod is Perfect!!! It came with a carry case. I also leave the camera on and put it over my shoulder and walk with it. Highly recommend this Tripod. Oh, I'm also 73 years old :)

The Right Stuff
The carbon fiber legs reduce the weight of this tripod appreciably. I own another Induro tripod that's not carbon fiber it weighs roughly twice that of the carbon fiber. I got the carbon fiber tripod for my wife, she loves it!

Built well, works well.
As expected, solid/sturdy, light, well made. Only ding is set screw to prevent attached head from unscrewing is too far out from center for heads without wide bases.

Everything I Expected!!
I was ready to move up and purchase a better grade tripod, but couldnt pull the trigger on a tripod costing $1000 or more. After doing some research I chose the Induro CLT404L and couldnt be more satisfied. At 61 I need a tall tripod, and with the legs fully extended my camera is at eye level, with no need to extend the center post. And it comes with a short center post for low shots, a set of spikes for the feet and a tool kit, plus a study bag,... Show More

Lightweight, Solid, Versatile, and Easy To Use
I love Induro products. They are well built, lightweight, versatile, and reasonably priced (for a carbon tripod, of course). This is the third Induro tripod I have purchased. I have a 3 series (that is Rock Solid) which I use in the studio, as well as a monopod. I purchased this CLT104 as a lightweight, travel tripod. The Induro BHL 1S ball head I paired with this tripod works awesomely well also... Induro products have what I like to refer to as a lot of bang for the buck. You should have no reservations about purchasing an Induro tripod for yourself! Highly recommended!

Terrific after 2 days Shooting
Surprisingly strong for its weight. Smooth, reliable actions throughout: for positioning or extending legs or changing the center column. Appreciate that a short center column is included, as well as spikes and a tool kit and case--all well made. As far as I can tell, this is a solid tripod built to last.

Induro CLT104 Classic Series 1 Stealth Carbon Fiber Tripod w
Great tripod for the money. The tripod and ball head bundle was a good deal. It came with a duffel case and tool kit as well as a long and short center column. Its very sturdy and lite. I purchased this model to use with a Canon 5D with a normal lens. I would not use it with a long, heavy lens, light intermediate use only.

Good Value with Some Minor Issues
This renders my previous review on the product redundant. The GOOD - It is strong and stable with useful reach. Owned for 18 months, it has done around 60 shoots and 200 hours. The ISSUES - The center column needs quite a bit of force to really lock it off, I think there is too much too much tolerance in the channel. I also found that extending the upper legs from the fully retracted position often took a tug which is annoying and I have realized... Show More

Not up to Induro standards
Im a landscape and fine art photographer using medium format gear. Sadly the CLT303 is no where near as nice as the CT313 that it replaces, every aspect of it looks like the accounting department got control of product design and features. It is shorter than the CT313 by a good margin, the case is not as nice in construction as its predecessor, the leg padding is thin and hard compared to the CT313 and CT213, the CLT303 does not damp vibrations a... Great Value, very sturdy
I use one of the largest RRS tripods for my gear. This one is for the spouse, who wanted something a bit lighter. It fits the bill at ~ 3 pounds. Nicely made. Locks up well, Great for all but perhaps very long lenses.

A really fantastic tripod
I spent a good week or two debating between the CLT403, CLT303L and the CLT404L. I did as research as I could and while there isnt tons of reviews out there for these tripods, what I did learn was they have a great reputation. I eventually went for the CLT404L. Im 61 tall and really didnt want to use a centre column to achieve eye level shooting, so this eventually made this choice an easier one. This tripod is very tall, so thats excellent. ... Show More

Do not buy: cheap inside plastic parts, falls apart
I have been using this tripod for the last 6 months, for outside shoots primarily (landscape/cityscapes); while I shoot daily, this was not the only tripod I have been using (1 of 3), so I'd say it was moderate use overall. This morning during an outside shoot when I was readying the tripod and extending the legs, one of the legs came off, apparently the cheap inside plastic parts broke. See attached photo. Those inside pieces that keep the leg f... Show More

I've had several Induro tripods and this one is like all the others. Great product, well built, lightweight but sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

Best Carbon Fiber Tripod
I've used several tripods during my projects. I have to say that this tripod is the best one that I have used. It's lightweight and durable. It even comes with its own carrying case. The legs fully extend so you can capture shots that require some height.

Perfect !
I used this tripod with a gimbal head and felt very comfortable moving this set up with a tele lens. Light weight and strong. The screw down leg locks are so easy to use and the large center column screw down collar is great to use.

This Induro Tripod is absolutely wonderful. It's strong and can hold my camera with a 600mm lens on it. So easy to use and set up. I'm so pleased with it.

So far, so great! Good value.
I have just finished my first major shoot using the Induro CLT303 Tripod. Big Island of Hawaii, sunrise over Mauna Kea. Light to moderate wind. 5000 ft elevation (40 F ish, cold this time of year). Heavy rig: Nikon D4, Nikon 400 mm 2.8, Wimberely WH 200 Gimbal head. Tripod was super stable, easy and fast adjustments, easy to read the level, shots turned out great.

Great value for your money
Light and sturdy. Only thing I would say is if you get this tripod then be sure to first tighten all the bottom rubber boots and weight hook. I was shooting in death valley in Badwater and was luck to find my weight hook for the center column. All in all its a great product but please tighten all the removable parts on the tripod before taking it out on the field. Did multiple long exposure with little wind and it was absolutely rock solid. I have added couple of long exposure images that were taken this past weekend.

Great Tripod
This is the only problem I have with the CLT203 is that the rubber feet keep coming lose when it is transported in my car trunk. Annoying but not a deal breaker. This is my second Induro tripod. My first one is about 15 years old and still going strong. Customer support is outstanding. It was repaired at no cost even though it was out-of-warranty.

Surprising quality at half the price of the name brand!
After purchasing and returning a somewhat more expensive tripod by another manufacturer, I was resigned to having to pony up for a Gitzo. The tripod I returned had received excellent reviews, but I found it to have too much flex in the legs, and its twist locks twisted but did not really lock. Twice, the tripod started to collapse of its own accord. So I went to the B&H Superstore to examine the various Gitzos, even though I was reluctant to spen... Show More

The mother lode of tripods
I was in need of a solid sturdy tripod for a 5Diii and the 150-600 mm S, I had others (very solid) from another brand but aluminum; I searched Feisol, Gitzo but bottom line, they did not fill my height requirements. I'm just a shade under 6'4. Wala, the Induro promotion offered a free PHD3 pan head; a no brainer decision. Over the years, I purchased at least 10 tripods, (three which I still own), but spent well over the listed price for this baby... Show More
