Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR Camera with 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens

Great camera
I know there has been some disappointment with this model, but it seems that this is more a case of "I hoped for a miracle and didn't get it" rather than a rating of the camera on its overall price vs. performance. I am upgrading from a 60D, and I found the 6D Mark II to be the best choice in a full frame DSLR (for someone with a big investment in Canon glass). So far, admittedly only a few hundred shots in, it does everything it was spec'd to do.

A few nice enhancements over the 6D
Enhancements such as the touch screen, additional intermediate ISO settings, and both vertical and horizontal levels when looking through the viewfinder make the Mark 2 a winner for me. A little larger file size and a bit easier to use menu just add to the usefulness of this body. The remote shutter release cord connection on the front of the body is easier to connect to than on the 6D body. Overall, it's a very useful tool, and I like it.

Deck Test
I've only used this on the deck, but I like it. I bought it primarily for the screen - flip & touch. It's really nice to set up a shot and touch the area you want in focus. The flip screen will be great for low shots and difficult shots such as over cliffs or waterfalls. I also like the viewfinder level and grid mask to get my shots aligned. 4k video would have been really great, but not a deal-breaker for me.

Completely Disappointed .
Completely disappointed Canon has taken a step back again I have two cameras 6d previous version And use them for photography and cinematography Buy the 2nd version thinking that it would overcome the previous version since it has a more recent sensor But it was the opposite, the quality of video is extremely inferior, the codes make this camera even more a toy , And the contrast is more pronounced such as the rebel or lower models.

Great camera!
So far it has been a great camera. I have not used a full frame camera is many years, but have experience with the older 1D and 5D(both great cameras in those days. I can't compare the 6D MK II to the newer 5D or 1D, but sure beats others in the price range. It isn't heavy yet has enough weight for those that like a camera that feels solid, its quick menu makes it easy to make changes to most features. Over all very pleased!

easy transition
received this about a week ago and since I had a previous canon 3ti it was easy to hook it up and shoot. There are more features of course and many more options but overall seems like a nice camera. My problem is now that I have this I cant seem to download my pics onto my old Lightroom 5 app that was working fine with my other camera. Not sure now how to get my new pics off the camera to edit? Any suggestions are welcomed!

Great Photos.
Initially I was not high on this camera, mainly because it only used SD cards with one slot and no CF. But after having it for sometime, the color rendition on photos is outstanding. It is also faster on Auto Focus then my 5D Mark IV, so I will use it on pictures of birds in flight, even though it is not the ideal Bird Camera. A solid backup to the 5D Mark IV in every respect. Oh, and at todays prices it is a steal.

Don't listen to the nay sayers
I have the 6D and the 6D Mark II. The so called dynamic range issues and noise issues are bogus in my opinion. This is a big upgrade from the 6D. The menu system us better and there are many new features like the interval timer and the time lapse move feature. Its faster and as far as I can tell better image quality. Is it better than the latest 5D, I can't answer and probably not but for the money it's worth it.

My new favorite dslr
I was hesitant on getting it since all the bad reviews online and even calling it the worst camera of 2017 but all of them were just criticizing the spec sheets rather than actually trying it out in action. A very affordable and lightweight full frame camera, and even better since I upgraded from my canon T3i after 5 years with it , who cares if it doesnt have 4K , just do what it was made for: taking pictures.

Terrific Camera Does the Job
Very happy with this camera, purchased primarily for nightscapes and astronomy. I now have all the MK-IIs: 5D, 7D, and this one, and they all have done great work. Like the 7D-MkII, the chip here seems to have a very high quantum-efficiency coupled with very low noise and no banding. The shutter and mirror vibration are very low, especially for a full-frame camera. Result: very faint stars shown in seconds!

Amazing upgrade
I upgraded after one year with a crop frame sensor and ended up deciding to go with this as it was Canons cheapest full frame. The camera blew me away with its image quality and features which was unexpected due to some youtube reviews. Some pro level photographers didn't give great remarks but they're standards are being compared to cameras like the 5d iv which is significantly more expensive

Best thing I have done!
I started with a digital Rebel. Then moved up to a 20D, then 2 50D's. I have had a hankering for a full frame for some time. When B&H offered the deal on the 60 Mark II I just couldn't resist it. I am totally Blown Away by the difference in this new camera. It does stuff I never even hoped to be able to do. Only drawback it's going to take me a long time to learn all of it! Bill

Canon EOS 6D Mark II Camera
I upgraded to the 6D Mk 2 from a Canon Rebel T5i. Took some learning in the beginning, but overall a most excellent camera. I had some L lenses from previous camera which all fit the 6D Mk 2. I do wildlife and macro photography and it performs great. Light weight and affordable camera for anyone entering the world of full frame cameras. I have found nothing to dislike about it.

This is marketed as a vlogging camera
I know a lot of people are upset that the DR on this camera wasnt up to speed with its predecessor, but the camera is marketed as a vlogging camera and it does that extremely well. Most vloggers want a camera with great auto focus tracking and 1080 at 60. This camera maybe pricey for a vlogging camera, but it is a good vlogging camera that you can use the L series glass.

I'm glad I took a good look at this camera
I've been using the Canon 7D Mark II for a couple of years now, I wanted to get a full frame camera for taking scenery pic's and still shots. I am amazed at the pictures I get with this camera. The color and quality is amazing and on burst mode you can get some nice action shots, I have to say I am very happy with this camera. And B&H always gets your order to you ASAP

A real workhorse
The Canon EOS 6D Mark II is a very reliable camera, I love the fast autofocus system and the fact this camera produces, to my taste, the best colors. I use this camera with the sigma FE 24-105 mm lens. I installed the PIXMA Pro-100 than came with the camera, and I had printed wornderful pictures. I am still photographer but the videos are fine for my particular needs.

Excellent for the price
Bought this camera as a backup for my Canon 5D MKII. I like the positionable screen for shooting photos above my head at high angle. Wish it had dual SD cards to record to but it is a back up camera at weddings not the main. For all other uses the single card is not a problem. Took a day or so to get use to the controls which are a little different than the 5D MK II.

First Full Frame Canon
I've been shooting Canon APS-C SLR's for some time now and never had the resources to make the jump to Full Frame. Decided to go with a new 6D II instead of a used 5D III. Specs were nearly identical if not better on the 6D side. The camera paired with my lens of choice, a canon 85mm 1.8 is insanely sharp, fast, and well composed. Strongly recommend the 6D II body.

Improvement over predecessor
The Canon 6D Mark II has a number of improvements over the 6D: lighter; faster auto focus; increased megapixel sensor; flip/articulating screen; 45 focus points over 11 in 6D; increased ISO range; improved burst shooting. Original 6D is a great entry level full frame camera. I traded in my 6D for the upgrade and am pleased with the images from the 6DMark II.

Great as expected
I've been a canon user all my carreer and still will be for a time. I was saving for the 5D mark IV but once the 6D was announced i preferred to wait, and it was worth. If you can afford de 5D go for it, but if you are on a budget, the 6D has pretty much what a photographer needs. I currently do most studio stuff like food, products and portraits for web.

Great Package deal
I was looking for this camera and almost bought it for the same price with no extras. B and H went the extra mile with the SD card, the printer, and the battery pack with extra battery. The camera takes great pics, I've only done daylight so far, but will get into some low light shots once its a bit warmer than 30 degrees here in northern Nevada!

Feeling Better
I was a little nervous buying this camera. There was so much negative on the u tube by profession such as poor dynamic range, focusing points clustered together. I am just starting to use this camera with a canon 70-200 f 4 non is. The photos are very sharp , takes good pictures in low light. The camera feels very good. I am feeling better.

What a great camera!
Such a great way to make your foray into the world of full frame cameras. Fantastic weight for all day carrying, resolution to match most, lens choices for days, weather sealing for inclement occasions, fast frame rates, low light performance.... Just an all around great camera to handle the most specific needs of professional photography!

Well done Canon
I use my camera for tabletop photography so I cant speak to many of the features available but I like the camera for my purpose. The one small complaint I have concerns the location of the remote release port which is on the front of the camera - why would anyone need it there ? It works fine though so I cant complain too much .
