The mic is very good, the wire is very short and not too long. Sometimes the audio is quiet, but you can probably fix that in post.

This is an awesome stereo condenser mic, especially at this price. I'm using it atop my Blackmagic 4K Cinema Camera and it greatly enhances the audio experience.

I use this great little mic in conjuction with my Kodak Zi8 with both units mounted on a Bescor VB-50 UNIV SHOE MT ADAPTER KIT - BEVB50. This set up is small and fantastic. If you are looking for a good stereo microphone to add onto your camera this is a great one to start with.

this mic is total garbage..i bought it because of the low price tag.save your money people.unless ur in a 100% noise free enviroment and you take the mic off the shoe and put it to your lips.then youll get good audio.

OK for SLRs but needs adapter w camcoder

The microphone has a connector that fits full size SLRs but not camcorders. Since an adapter will increase the price almost double, I have not used it yet. Disipointed that I wasn't warned about camcorder compatibility. My Canon M500 has a mini connector.

I bought this as a supplemental microphone to attach to a GoPro and my iPhone. The audio quality is usable but the pickup pattern is so tight it only captures audio at very close range. Which means adding gain to the audio in post which increases the ever present buzz of the mic.
