If you are Fuji X System user don't buy this items
It is advertised as specially design for Fuji and Nikon and cost more than the standard model. Well, it was very difficult to mount and I broke it trying to get off of the camera. I am sending it back.

Great Visibility
Level can be oriented on either two axes making camera leveling intuitive. Bubbles are highly visible. This is a great little tool when you need to set orient your camera such as in shooting a set of panorama shots. Strongly recommend.

easy leveling
The Vello 2-axis hot shoe bubble works great. Once you level your tripod you can make adjustments with your L-bracket, etc. and know where you stand. The level position is easy to see on the top of your camera.

Very useful for macro photography!
Ive started doing a lot of macro photography again with light tents. While its not hard to make sure my macro subjects were level, I always struggled with making sure the camera itself was level both horizontally and vertically. Simple and perfect tool for any camera
I did purchase to use with D850 or D7500, and it woks very Well with simple and perfect solution. Occasionally, checked with Camera built in level, but it always shows a perfect Setup. Very much satisfied with quick and easy solution.

In this case, you dont get what you paid for.
For an accessory such as this, I dont think its a cheap price and definitely not up to par with quality... The level came very scuffed and isnt a snug fit on the hot shoe. Im definitely going to try and return this if its free to return.. Buyers be cautious. Wont be buying any more Vello products.

Must-have for landscape photographers.
This is a simple-enough thing: its an acrylic cube with three bubble levels molded into it. You insert it into the flash shoe of a tripod-mounted camera, and move the head around until the three bubbles are centered. If you shoot off a tripod, you need this.

Not accurate
when checking this for accuracy it failed. If you turn bubble level 180 degrees it should read the same on the surface it is on. It doesnt do that. If you set upright on a surface the bubble should remain constant but it shifts all over the place. Now it is worth sending back with postage and all probably not. Really was hoping it worked.

Falls Off
Falls off the hot shoe. Not worth it at all. Bad design and poor quality. It doesnt fit cameras with the front hot shoe connection cover (like Sony) because it doesnt have a front slit.

Broke the first time I installed it on the hot shoe
The idea of a leveler seemed good but ever even had the chance to use it. It was a just a little tight going in, but when I attempted to slide it out an entire piece of the tab broke off. The shoe was not affected, I wonder if the cube was a factory defect.

DO NOT BUY - Falls Off Camera
I love the concept, but hate the design. The bubble is made of a soft rubber that doesnt snap in and lock! WONT STAY IN!! I just got it and lost it on my first shoot! Not well designed to stay on the camera. Lost it on a shoot up in the mountains. After seeing the most helpful review decided to take the risk and buy it, but quality is far from acceptable, two of the bubbles have incomplete marks to center and hot shoe base has a visible dent even without opening the original packaging

Hot shoe bubble level works
Purchased this to use with my monopod. It fits my Sony Alpha6's hot shoe and allows me to keep the camera level when using the monopod. The bubble levels are visible in any camera position . I have not been able to give it a full field test but the short test I ran indicated that it should work fine. It is small enough to fit in ones pocket or camera bag when not in use.

Poor quality control
I purchased one of these bubble levels several years ago, and it proved to be an excellent purchase. I have used it thousands of times with several cameras. However, I recently purchased another that would not fit into any hot-/accessory shoe on any of my cameras without forcing it into place, Unfortunately, I broke the mounting tab trying to remove it. Doesn't stay in hot shoe.
Was bought for my M50 and CONSTANTLY falls out of the shoe. Only accessory to have this problem. Buy any level but this one!

Garbage
It would not slide all the way into my flash hot-shoe on my Nikon camera. Then when i tried to remove it from the hot-shoe part of it broke off and was stuck in the hot-shoe.

Cannot give 5 stars
This level fits a little loosely in the shoe and does not give congruent readings with hand held levels. It is not off by very much, but it is enough to require me to mentally extrapolate to try to correct the tripod setup, or end up having to do the correction in post processing. If it had a larger bubble it would help

Great product
This bubble level is exactly what I wanted. It fits easily into the hot shoe of my camera and makes it extremely easy for me to level my camera for both landscape and portrait photography. This is definitely worth the investment.
