I've found the camera simple to use and self explanatory - without having to resort to instructions for most things. It gives a good quality picture and came at an affordable price. You can't go wrong with the price either - it also includes a self timer. It has everything I need. Fully recommend this camera and look forward to many years of good service.

compact yet big enough screen wise
lovely compact camera with many features bright screen, intuitive to navigate. the on off pimple would be hard to operate with gloves on as it is tiny and recessed presumably so it is not switched on in your pocket. unfortunately my 80yr old mum was unable to turn it on or off with her fingers. younger plumper fingers will have not trouble nor did i. .

A lot of camera for such a cheap price
I've had this camera before, and due to an ex friend breaking it on a night out, invested in another one. Panoramic sweep is amazing for sunsets and beach shots, just ensure there's no dogs running through as they look rather disturbing. Action shots are also great. Has a good shutter speed so unlikely to blur. Another good feature is the smile detector.

Takes rubbish photo's
Being a Sony product and having a Zeiss lens, I was expecting good things from this camera. How disapointed I was when I viewed the pictures on my computer. The photo's were smudged...probably from over processiing and the colour looked lifeless. My smartphone took better pictures and thats just a mid budget phone. will stick to Panasonic in the future.

Excellent Sony Camera
It was very convenient for my daughter to purchase Sony Cybershot W830 20.1MP Compact Digital Camera At present she is in Nepal Via Raleigh International ICS on Voluntary work for three months and it will be very convenient to carry it round plus light weight and it's Digital. Excellent
Has done my recent trip to The Namibian Desert proud. I was amused that a professional photographer who took some shots for me praised it. It's only drawback was not being waterproof. It got drowned seeing The Victoria Falls and I bought a replacement so I could still use my memory card. This usage was a one off but what camera is waterproof?

Amazing budget camera
Although low on features, this cheap camera does what it says on the tin - and does it well. Picture quality is great for portraits and landscapes. I bought it for close-ups of products at work: remains to be seen how well it will do for that but I'm anticipating good things. I really value the choice of colours too - bought my signature pink!

NICE LITTLE CAMERA
Bought this to replace my Olympus which had stopped working, I was amazed at how small it is! It has all the features of the Olympus plus more. Easy to use and can be recharged from USB port or mains, (transformer supplied). Slips into pocket easily, overall very pleased and would recommend. Don't forget memory card as this is not supplied.

Small but great little camera.
I bought this for my 23 year old son for his birthday.It is quite small which was just right for keeping in his pocket when he was on his holidays. The pictures were extremely sharp and true to colour and it has a good zoom on it too which is a great feature of this compact camera. He was very pleased with this and would recommend to others.

Excellent Value camera
This camera is the latest version of this model. It has 20.1 Megapixel quality and an 8x optical Zoom. The settings are very user-friendly. The advantage if this particular variant over the previous models is the improved pixel quality and enhanced zoom feature. I am very pleased with my choice and would recommend this camera to anyone.

Incredible camera at a great price
I grabbed this camera for a trip to New York just so I wouldn't have too much to carry and it's now replaced my Digital SLR. The photos were amazing really hi-def, full of colour. The video camera was much better than I expected. It pretty much done it all to perfection. And it was not an expensive buy so I am a happy bunny all round.

Very impressed with this small compact camera. It has replaced my Sony 12 year old camera which still works! I like the built in re- chargeable battery which can be charged with the supplied battery charger or connect to a computers USB. It has a built in 27 mg memory card , if I had known I would bought smaller separate memory card.

Tiny camera but packed with features.
This small camera is ideal for holidays just put it in your pocket and it's always ready for when you need it. we took it on a three week holiday and only had to charge it once, we took over 200 photo's and lots of HD quality video. I'm not sure we would use all the features available but it's nice to know they are there if needed.

Excellent product - recommended
This is a fantastic small camera, that fits neatly in my wife's handbag. Easy to use and comes highly recommended. One small niggle for those not tech-minded was there was no actual instructions to how to set-up the camera - but to be honest it wasn't that difficult. Great price - multi-colour choice. Excellent product. Recommended.

Very good picture quality
Very easy to handle, small and compact. Very good picture quality. It comes with the charger for battery. It doesn't come with a memory card so make sure you buy one as the camera doesn't have internal memory. I will recommend to buy a larger storage memory card as the pictures sizes are bigger than a single digit MP camera. Enjoy!

Bought for my fiancee
A great little camera and great value for money. I bought it for my fiancee as she is going to a concert soon and thought that with the zoom that she can get better pictures than her camera. Great little camera for the novice with its ease of use and standard functions that allow the novice to take the perfect pictures. :)

A lovely compact camera
I bought this camera to take on a holiday to Africa. It stayed charged for a few days at a time despite being turned on and off regularly. It's easy to use and whilst not the quality of a more professional camera (obviously!), it takes good photos. My one gripe would be that the camera doesn't take photos in poor light.

Typical Sony quality...
Camera takes great pictures, also the HD video is excellent. Battery can only be charged in camera. Menu system could be more intuitive, but once you have used it a few times you get used to it. My camera was covered in finger prints. Though obviously un used, it kind of spoiled the ' new purchase' thing a bit for me .

Great for a compact camera
bought as a second camera for events. It is a lovely compact camera. The features are good, facial focus and smile recognition is first class. two features loose a mark. the on off button is very small and hard to turn on and off. also the screen is hard to see in sunlight. but all in all it is a great little compact.

So good I bought it twice!
I use this little camera every day for my work. I need a camera which gives me really clear, sharp photos. This camera is easy to use with the option of taking video. I've bought a second camera as I need a back-up and I want to retire the first camera for personal use where it's equally good for family pics and holidays.

Great Camera
Lovely compact camera. Easy to use great features. Only negative was the downloading of the software onto my laptop to transfer the photos. Very difficult and frustrating the software would not load onto my laptop. Had to let someone who knows about these things do it and it even got them sratching their head for a while.

Great little camera
I ike this camera, it fits in the pocket, picture and video quality are excellent. There is a delay between pressing the shutter and the image appearing on screen, which at first I thought I had moved the camera too quick and would get a blurred image, but it isn't so, just a quirk of the camera. Overall very pleased.

Sony Cybershot Camera
This is the 3rd camera of this style that I have chosen- Find it easy to use as the camera presets for my requirements. Easy to download pictures to computer file. For my purposes the pictures are accurate and precise. Good value. Choice of casing colours, but as I am behind the lens this doesn't matter to me.

A great little camera, great photos
This was a last minute buy as my trusty camera broke! It’s relatively easy to use but it is let down by the lack of a user manual. Not everyone can go online & access the information they need. Bring back the manuals so people can get the best out of their cameras. Having said that the photos are excellent quality.
