Stable and Easy to Use
Very steady on my monopod. Supports my 150-600mm lens without a problem, and makes it much easier to use it rather than hand holding.

Sturdy / Good Quality
I use this head with the Sirui P-424 monopod. The aspect that I like about it the most is that It is able to support the weight of my super-telephoto lens. The knobs are very easy to grip - even while wearing thick gloves. It is indeed able to support the use of Arca swiss plates. Although the head is very fluid in its motion, sometimes it can be a little difficult to move if there is not a lot of weight on it (for instance, if I were to use a lighter camera / lens combination that was not a super-telephoto).

Great for monopods
I am using this head to support a manual Nikkor ED-IF 800mm f/5.6, which is about 24 long with its lens shade on. It handles the weight fine, and is reasonably ergonomic. The controls are large enough to engage a positive lock. The build is beefy, so I also look forward to also using it with my manual Nikkor ED-IF 300/2.8. Have to get another camera (lens) plate. Better than expected
I knew very little about Sirui before ordering this. I needed a 2 way tripod head that could hold a lot of weight and be stable. It's everything I expected and more. The movement is extremely smooth and well damped in both movement planes. It holds my Nikon 200-500mm very well and I feel it could hold a lot more weight effectively. Great monopod head for those who use Arca Swiss style plates
This monopod head has several nice features. For example, the orientation of the clamp can be quickly changed with an included wrench. Also, Sirui includes safety stops to help keep your Arca Swiss style mounting plates from slipping through the clamp. Overall my impression is that this item is of good quality, and that the price is fair. As usual, B&H has great customer service, so shipping was fast, and free. I would buy again.

well built and smooth as silk
I was looking at a 2 way head that could be used on both a monopod and tripod and accommodate heavy lenses at times without issues. I was initially looking at the Markins BV head since I already have a Markins Q20 ball which is top notch. The price of a Q20i head and the BV combo is ridiculous so in comes the Sirui. great tripod/monopod head
Great little tripod/monopod head, great features for the price. It can be used on either a tripod or monopod. I purchased this head to be used with a MeFoto Globe Trotter travel tripod. It works great with this tripod it doesn't add any extra weight, but is ore stable then the supplied ball head.

Smooth as Silk
I bought this to use on both a tripod and a monopod. On a tripod the 2-degrees of freedom (altitude and azimuth) is the same type of motion that a Wimberley enables at a fraction of the weight. What really surprised me was the very smooth motion. It feels like a fluid head and swinging a long lens (e.g., 100-400 on Fuji X Pro2) was a pleasure. Of course, on a monopod, the azimuthal (panning) motion is not needed, but the fluidity of the altitude control and the light weight of the head make it a pleasure to carry and use.

I had not heard of Suri until I contacted B&H for a monopod we talked about it and I bought it, I purchased a Suri pan and tilt head piror to the monopod but never used it. I thought it would work well with the monopod. I like this head because of the QUALITY AND DURABILITY well buil metal construction.I used it for my mefoto tripod and sirui monopod.I'm not a professional photographer but recommend this HEAD is highly professional grade specially for heavy Lens like my 70-200 usm version 2 from CANON.

Glad I opted for the L20s
I'm very happy with the performance of this head. I'm glad I spent a little more to get the L-20s vs the L-10. The ability to change the orientation of the top plate means I can use this head for my macro rig in addition to my birding lens. My macro lens doesn't feature a lens collar, so I'm mounting to a plate on the camera body that runs perpendicular to the orientation of the L-10 head.
