There's not much to say. If you need this, it's perfect. RRS's precise construction is unsurpassed. This perfectly fits the bottom of my panogimbal head's panning base. There is even a slight lip around the perimeter of the curved edges that perfectly fits the rounded edges of the bottom of the panning head. This allows me to very securely attach my panogimbal head to a leveling base or ball head via a quick release clamp for maximum versatility and ease of use. I would highly recommend this to all users of RRS panogimbal heads or anyone else in need of this product in some other way.

The reason for getting into the Really Right Stuff system.
I've used various quick-release systems in the past. They were all fiddlyand always got in the way. I have used Really Right Stuff products before. I love the feel, fit and finish of their products. When I saw how Really Right Stuff components can be easily switched in and out, like a BH-55 ball head for a PG-02 pano-gimbal head for an FH-350 fluid head, I was convinced this was the system for me. Would work well for other componentssuch as a slider.

Happy I made the switch
I installed a RRS lever release clamp on the leveling base of my RRS tripod then installed one of these plates on the base of my ballhead and fluid head and slider so I can quickly switch between them. Then installed a RRS b2-LR clamp on my slider so I can attach either head right to the slider for rapid switching. It's expensive to do so, but for a professional who travels and shoots on quick moving shoots it's really worth it.

Every Photographers must have!!!
If you're using a leveling base you must own this. I have this perfectly fit on my Leofoto Leveling base install it on Ballhead,Gimbal Head. This item is half the Height of a standard Arca swiss plate that you purchase on 3rd party brand.The stud screw is very high quality metal not the same as you own when you buy other brand of arca swiss plate that comes with 1/4,3/8 screws this one is hard strong metal..

Why isn't there a locking screw?
Very disappointed that there is no locking screw that you can tighten onto the object you're mounting on this. Was using it to do a quick release of tripod heads between Wimberley and RRS Ball head. I don't like to rely on "Lock Tight". I'd rather feel confident that nothing will break loose by take the extra 30 seconds to actually just use the regular mounting screws to exchange heads.

Very well made, solid when clamped with RRS quick release on
Seems like I always run into situations where I need a plate for something so i bought one to throw in my bag. Very well made and actually ended up using it on an old ball head I had laying around with another mount and it works perfectly. I already have the RRS quick release on all my tripod so it was a perfect match

Really good stuff
I purchased this product for use in conjunction with the RRS B2-Lr-Ii Lever-Release Clamp. Used together I can quickly change out my regular tripod head with my Gimbal head; I am both a wildlife and scenic photographer, so this if very useful. RRS makes really great gear

Another very well made RRS product
Like all RRS products that I own, this plate is beautifully manufactured. The curved edges on the short sides make it a particularly good companion to the TA-LBC: Round lever-release clamp.
