Novoflex NF3320 MiniPod
Ingenious device - very adaptable and useful.
Found this little delight on B&H while shopping for a replacement tripod that would work for my wife to shoot low macro stuff with her 5dm2 out in the forest and such. She kept stealing my Induro hi hat for that purpose. She uses it with and without a ballhead, and another great variation is that it pairs nicely with an Edelkrone Flex Tilt head. Outstanding German Design & Engineering
This minipod is incredibly built. It's rock solid and perfect for macro or focus stacked shots of bugs, mushrooms and critters near the ground. It replaces a Gorillapod. This is so much more stable. I'm using the ballhead from the Gorillapod and it's a great combination. I'd give it 5 stars but it would have been nice to get a bag and it would be handy if each of the 3 notches (each is for a different angle/height) had identifiable colored dots or a number which would be helpful when trying to find the right setting in a hurry.

Straightforward, works with BasicBall
These are metal rods with male and female screw threads on each side,. They are meant to extend the Minipod, but I actually bought my set to extend my Novoflex BasicBall. There's not much to be said about such a simple piece of equipment. They're well made and work as advertised. There are little holes you could drive avery thin rod through if you over-tighten them and are unable to unscrew them by hand, but it would have been better to have a chamfer or some other easier mechanism to tighten and untighten the rods.

Novoflex Minipod
Just recently purchased this mini pod to photograph subjects near the ground. Before purchase I was concerned this mini pod would not hold the weight of my camera and 200mm macro lens combination. This concern was unfounded as this mini pod is an extremely precision device, an example good and clean engineering and excellent construction and material. Very much worth the price and I will eventually more of the NOVOFLEX products.

STABLE and STRONG
Novoflex is very stable and handles weight of heavy equipment. Used with a NIKON D800 With MD, Nikon Micro Nikkor 105mm f 2.8,Manfrotto 808rc4, and COGNISYS STACKSHOT extended macro rail.

Novoflex is great, but I dislike this particular product
The knobs to adjust the legs are difficult to grasp and turn. This is a problem for anyone requiring frequent adjustment.
