Perferct for precise leveling
Well crafted and easy to handle, this is just what I needed for leveling my camera shooting interiors. I use a tilt shift lens for a lot of my shooting and this is much more precise and quicker getting to level than a 3 way or ball head. Using the head to adjust was always a fidgity trial and error, then re-adjust. When you are on location and the client is watching, it looks like you don't know what you are doing. Design glitches that could be improved.
This is a great device for what it was built. 1. Inner screw knob position does not allow to firmly tighten (hard to reach) it leaving leveler prone to movements. So I tighten the leveler in position completely and do not use this inner screw at all. 2. Lack of built-in bubble level forces user to use some sort of level attached on a moving parts on top of this leveler. This pretty much guarantees imperfect horizontal alignment of moving parts... Excellent leveler, affordably priced
I am Google Photographer and I work for a Google Agency that specializes in virtual tours. This leveler is used for the panos (panoramic 360 images). It is a workhorse and a part that is vital to creating the panoramic images.Everything is excellent, the build quality is top notch. We've had a few other copies of this leveler for a few years and the only thing is that the adjustment knobs started to squeak a bit during adjusting, but a little wd-40 on the threads and the leveler was as good as new.

Good enough, small
Well made, enough range to level if youve already done a preliminary leveling with leg adjustments. Suggestion for manufacturer is to use slightly longer bolt protruding through the cork platform. I use a thin Sunwayfoto LP-76 leveling plate under a MeFoto ball head. Bolt threads on the EZ-Leveler are barely long enough to catch the ball head threads after passing through the Sunwayfoto plate.

On the Level ...Really
I bought the EZ Leveler II in order to shoot level panoramas with my new Nodal Ninja M1L panorama head. It works as advertised. I attach the EZ Leveler II to my sturdy Manfroto tripod. To the EZ I attach the M1L. Using the M1l's bubble level I make adjustments to my tripod's ball head. Then I fine tune the level with the EZ until the bubble is centered. That's all there is to it.

Adding to my review, excellent service
Returning from overseas travel during which the EZ-Leveler-II was attached to the optional short post for my tripod, I was unable to unscrew the leveler from the post. Contacted Nodal Ninja in Arizona, sent it to them, and this was corrected quickly and at no cost. They also provided a cork spacer to be placed between the leveler and top of post. Take care not to over tighten.

Efficient and easy to use
I got this to replace a ball head that I was using to do panoramic shots. I use it in conjunction with a Nodal Ninja R10. I like that it has such a low profile and allows me to make the fine tune adjustments I need to get the camera level. I put a Manfrotto RC2 quick release adapter on so I can quickly transition from panos to POIs using the same tripod.

Love This Leveler
I love this Leveler. I purchased it to use specifically with my Manfrotto MLV500AV Fluid Head which I use on a flat base tripod. The EZ-Leveler-II makes leveling compositions very easy with great precision. The double knob locking mechanism is very easy to use and makes any adjustment rock solid.

Light and useful
I use this leveler as light weight option to level a NEX-6. It works fine and is just what I needed for cylinfric panorama pics. I already owned a light Novoflex rotator: the combo is what I need for my backpack. I din't tried larger DSLR eith this combo.

A Great Leveling Plate
A really nice piece of gear. Works like a dream. This was purchased after trying to use the Manfroto 338 leveling base which is a poorly assembled unit and a waste of money.

Good for moderate weight loads
Small light and does what it is supposed to do. I would look elsewhere if you need a unit to work with a heavy camera/lens combination
