Excellent for it's specialized purpose
Takes a bit of practice for focus/exp control. But results are as promised when you get the hang of it. I'm a pro retoucher, and can emulate the effects in post. But getting special effects in camera can often produce lucky accidents that aren't easy to replicate in post. Plus, it's a time saver to have the desired effect on demand. Fun, interesting lens
I already have a nice assortment of Fujinon lenses for the X-T20, but I wanted to try something different. This is my first experience with a non-Fujinon lens on the X-T20. First off, it does what it says its supposed to do and its a lot of fun to play around with it. That said, the build-quality falls short of Fujinon lenses, but thats OK. Love it!
I love this new lens! It's a great little art lens that allows for a spot of tack sharp focus surrounded by beautiful blur. The focus can moved around the frame by simply moving the lens on a ball joint. The Sweet 35 Optic can be removed from the Composer Pro ll and other optics added, so it's possible to switch between a Sweet 50 Optic, a Twist 60 Optic, and so on. I don't use this lens everyday, but it's a really fun lens that will add a whole new perspective to your photos. I'd recommend it.

Decently sharp!
I used this with an adapter to my sony a6300 to shoot a dream sequence in a short film I made in film school, and the lens is decently sharp in the center. The focus throw is not really short, but it's not incredibly long either, making getting things exactly in focus a little challenging. Great for shooting stills and photography, very good for video if you have a nice follow focus. Build well, I loved mine!

Fun to shoot with!
Fun and creative lens! Great to draw the eyes towards the subject of your photo and hide all the garbage that may be in your shot. Takes a little practice to figure out where your center of focus will be but allows for off center focal points while really blurring out the rest. Adds some fun to otherwise ho-hum shots.

Nice tool for creative photography!
Used the Sweet 35 to change up the shooting process and look at the studio in a different way. This was an update for me from the original lens baby. The fact that the optics can be changed is great. Easy to use and sharp images. Used with the Canon 5D MKIV.

Provides a sweet spot of focus, as advertised.
This is a specialty lens for those that want to manage focus in ways not possible with ordinary lenses. It requires patience & study to get good results.
