Brilliant quality clamp
This is beautifully made and solid. It matches well with the FLM 43 FT it is now mounted on. Having a built in Allen key is an excellent addition. Arca-Swiss plates and clamps vary slightly so settling on a brand to become the one you always get is a good idea. Kirk QRC-2.6 Arca-Type - simple and sturdy
The headline says it all; simple and sturdy. No quick release, no fancy buttons, just a simple rigid platform for your photographic equipment. Kirk QRC-2.6 Clamp
As always, Kirk makes a well-designed and excellent product. I have the Kirk low pod and I wanted to MacGyver it to become a panning plate and set it in a large frisbee when I'm pushing my long lens on the beach I called Gary at Kirk, and after discussion, he steered me to this bracket which turned out to be perfect for my needs -and it save me the cost of a $190 panning plate. Kirk customer service can't be beat.

Perfect for copystands
I'm using this to mount a Canon 6D /100mm F2.8 macro lens combination on a copystand. Absolutely solid mounting using 2 of the 1/4-20 threaded holes. The centerline and scale marks are very useful for camera alignment, and the large knob makes mounting/unmounting quick and easy while not interfering with the camera. As always, Kirk quality is outstanding.

Fast clamp
Works well and is easy to use. Be sure to remember to get a reducer bushing to screw it to the tripod. It cost me several days because I forgot to order one. Once the bushing arrived the clamp locked to the tripod in a jiffy. I'm using it with an L-bracket.

Great Clamp
The clamp is easy and quick to use. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that the bubble level is hard to see when the camera is on, when you have to move the whole setup around for different shots.
