Interchangeability at its best
I have the CT-3402 which is a flexible easy to use tripod. You can add various center columns to your needs which I think is a good feature. I had an issue with the set screws but I replaced them with better M4 screws that tighten & loosen easily. I mainly shoot in the dark and finding the small original screws may be a chore. Simple to use & lightweight.

Sturdy yet not well built
I had an issue with this tripod. It seems very flexible and sturdy yet I could not unscrew the very small allen screws (2 of them) and they stripped when trying to loosen. Fortunately the company Feisol replaced the part when I told them of the mishap. Great support. Seems like it should not have happened that an interchangeable part is unchangeable by being too tight. J Just what the doctor ordered!
I set up the Feisol CT-3402 tripod with an attached gimbal head, the minute I got it from B & H. Gotta say that the folks at B & H went out of their way to get the tripod to me in time for my extended Yellowstone trip, Being very small and only5' tall and having some health issues, I needed to lower the amount of weight that I was carrying in the field. Usual high quality build quality from Feisol
This is my third Feisol tripod purchase. I also own a 3472 M1 and 3401 purchased from B&H which are still in use for nature and landscape photography. I purchased the 3402 for a new backpack I setup for a Fujifilm mirrorless system. I use Feisol tripods exclusively for field work largely because of their light weight and exceptionally small folded dimension.

I bought the original version of this tripod several years ago. I liked the design of the leg angle adjustments, which do not require pulling out and resetting like Benro's do, for example. It could get low for macro shots, and it is very light, so it has good versatility. The base is solid and the hook is a nice touch. However, the design and build quality are not great.
