Fast and light. Missing USB ports, some keys & mate screen
The main reason I've bought this MacBook Pro was to update my old 2016 and be able to work faster on Lightroom, Photoshop, and other programs I use as a proffesional photographer. Powerful and compact, everything I need in a small package
I'm not really a technical wizard, so I'll limit these comments to my overall impressions.... My first impression after opening the box was how was I going to recover my working environment which was on my external WD MyBook hard drive. I am a MAC and PC user, each have their own use. It was time to upgrade a personal MAC and I decided to go with the MacBookPro. As always, I am an Apple fan boy. The computer itself is great. I had two AirBooks in the last few years and liked both of them. The MacBook Pro is not much heavier than the AirBook. The space gray exterior is much more pleasing to see. The computer is much faster and more powerful than the AirBook (of course, it is quite a bit more expensive). Awesome little computer
I was overdue for an upgrade, went with the 1TB option to combine a 2008 Mac pro and 2009 MBP into this one tiny laptop. It took some major effort, especially the photo and video libraries but it has taken everything I've thrown at it without a hitch. Excited to spend (hopefully!) another 10 years with it. Best Macbook Yet
This is my 5th MacBook owned over the past 12 years or so and my favorite so far. I have had an 11 air, a 13 air, 15 pro, and a 13 pro (still do have the 15 2012 which is doing great with a new battery and larger SSD). The keyboard takes some getting used to if you are used to larger keys, but the screen doesn't get oily like my 15 does. It's screaming fast and I like the 13 size. Powerful machine, fast and very portable. Battery life isn't as great as i'd expect from a $2200 machine that's supposed to get 10 hours. I'm getting about 7 hours continuous use on apps that aren't too demanding like office apps. screen is nice and Touch Bar changes the whole experience. I have been very pleased with the MacBook Pro 13 inch with Touch Bar. Surprisingly, the Touch Bar seems to be very useful and enjoyable to use. The updated keyboard is quiet and smooth. Nice machine. I am upgrading from a 2007 15 MP. I like the keyboard.The key stroke response is right on the money. I am not utilizing the Touch Bar to its full capability but it has been helpful. I finally had to retire my 2011 MacBook Air as it was at end of life and software was no longer being upgraded. I was having problems syncing contacts which was not good for me. Awesome laptop. Yes, you can purchase a Windows laptop with better specs, but the build quality and overall user experience of this Apple machine are just outstanding. Touch ID works exactly like on my iPhone (not those buggy sensors on the other laptops). The display is great. The TouchPad is the best I've ever used, very similar to iPhone touchscreen experience, very smooth and precise. I just don't understand why Win laptops manufacturers can't figure out how to make a great touchpad. It is very light and compact and the battery life is awesome as well. Very happy with my purchase

My daughter has had several laptops by other name brands, then she got my wife's hand-me-down Macbook Pro. There is no comparison to the other laptops for functionality, dependability and quality, even using the old Mac compared to new other brands. She goes off to college in the fall and we wanted her to have the latest and greatest Macbook pro. This one fills the bill and does not disappoint. She is thrilled and took to Catalina like a duck to water. Had to buy a rose gold hard shell and keyboard overlay to make it her's. Apple does it again, and she is happy. As are we.

My new Mac has a tough act to follow
Nine years is a long time to use the same personal computer - this Mac Book Pro has a tough act to follow, because that iMac lasted nine whole years, and the screen size was luxurious. Naturally, such an old machine will be more difficult to migrate from. Migration Assisant could not connect to my old iMac over WIFI. I used a Western Digital Elements 5TB external drive (very affordable item) to make a Time Machine backup, and as soon as I had a way to connect to the USB-C Thunderbolt ports, I was in business with a migration via the backup.

Best MacBook yet!
This is the only, ONLY computer that would satisfy my daughter as she prepares to head off to University. She was using my wife's hand-me-down 2012 MacBook Pro that is having screen challenges (blinking). She had researched all the options, knew the capabilities of this new MacBook and wanted the Touch Bar to increase her ease of use. This Macbook did not disappoint, although I did have to buy her a rose gold case since the Pro doesn't come naturally in that color. Go figure. The price and speed of delivery by B&H was spot on, as usual.

Pricey but Worth it
This is one powerful laptop. Provided that you dont need a touch-screen, this MacBook Pro is simply superb. Lightning-fast, powerful, and plenty of memory. The USB-C connectors are awesome. Yet its so thin and lightweight. If you need a touch-screen, I understand why youd consider other brands. Otherwise, this is a laptop that will serve me well for a minimum of 5 years before Id have to consider any sort of upgrade. And who knows what technology will be available then? No regrets, despite the price being above Windows-based models.

My second Macbook this year!
My wife and partner saw my Macbook Pro and said: I want one too. I just finished setting up my new Macbook pro I purchased a week earlier and after a day of working with it, a could no longer convince her that her Macbook Air is sufficient :) For this laptop, I ordered the 1.4ghz which is much faster than her previous 2015 Macbook Air 2.4ghz. Apple truly boosted the performance of the new processors. I'll take this or my other Macbook pro at any time and B&H makes it a breeze to select and buy one!

Love the Pro
Received MacBook Pro brand new sealed carton. Opened it up and it had a scratch on the top. Brand new sealed carton from the factory I guess they just missed that scratch. I was not concerned about it because I knew I was going to put a cover on it anyway. I dont blame B&H because it was a sealed carton. The MacBook Pro is lightning fast compared to my PC laptop. Easy to set up connect with my iPhone and iPad no problem. I would recommend a MacBook Pro to anyone whos looking for a quality laptop.
