I love it!
The Echo Dot/Alexa is really really good. I am happy that I bought it. It is great fun, very useful and almost feels like you have a friend in the room. If this is the future, just like talking to the computer on Star Trek, well then it blows my mind. Tell Alexa you love her and she sings you a funny song - try it.

A Life Saver for the Severely Visually Impaired
I installed this in my mother's care home room. It has allowed me to continue being in contact with her during this Covid19 outbreak. She cannot see to use a mobile phone and having a device she can speak instructions to has been a Godsend. It has widened her horizons listening to music and the news; knowing the weather etc. We have been able to keep in touch and chat it is a brilliant little device.

Brilliant addition to my kitchen
I use it mainly in the kitchen for the radio but have found it helpful when i ask on news related subjects and the weather! It has so many uses, my daughter finds it hilarious to keep saying alexa and changing my radio station! I love it!

Excellent service from argos

Good looking white echo dot
Other Echo and Dot already part of a system. However, this 2nd gen Dot despite clear instructions, refused to connect to my Wi Fi for a a couple of weeks. Once connected all working fine.

Great addition to my home and use it daily.
The Alexa speaker looks great in my living room and the sound quality is good. I play a lot of music on there so the Spotify skill is handy + Amazon music if you have prime. I use the news skill everyday. Very happy and would recommend it.

It's fantastic other than trying to connect to it. It was quite difficult and getting it to connect to other Amazon devices.

Superb product
The product is absolutely superb. Just for you to be aware you will have to subscribe to a music service to stream a full range of songs and albums by artists. The only design floor I can see is that the unit has to be plugged in at all times. Still a great product

Very good alternative to Google Home...
Bought three of these, as changed over from using Google Home. Must admit the sound quality on the Echo Dots aren't as good. I have two paired together, one at each end of the room, this means I don't have to have them on high volume to hear them. These are easier to pair and use than Google Home, which I had for over a year, shame about the drop in sound quality. I suppose if you want better sound quality, best to buy Amazon Echo Smart speaker, that must have a better sound.

Alexa is my Witcher
Everything was fine. Amazing customer service. I had a dream to have my Alexa next day, Argos is my Witcher. Good price, less than everywhere for a 3rd generation of my Alexa. They had colour what I wanted and everything was good, FAST and magic!
