I have no experience with midi but for the price I was willing to learn. And I did learn. The included software was an old obsolete version, no longer supported. Solid basic controller
I was looking for a very small but robust keyboard controller and this fits my requirements. Good but not extensive feature set (no pads) nice to use.

Good quality, great customer service
I'm still figuring it out, as I am new to midi input, but it seems like a very well made product. And when I asked some basic questions of the company, I received a prompt and helpful response, so the customer service is great.

Software Won't Download Completely - Software Errors.
I spent over 5 hours trying to get this product to work. Software will not download completely - Instruments and Drums sections. What software that did load will not recognize the USB Keyboard. Masterkey 25 is not one of the keyboards listed for Studio One. Also, there is no sound. This is on a Windows 7 Professional version. Time to return this product to BH if possible.

Excellent 25 key MIDI Controller
I use this controller on my desk as an aid for transcribing music scores into notation applications. Although bare-bones(with a price to match) it works very well for this purpose.

Not compatible with bundled software
The midi controller does not work with the Studio One Artist software it was sent with. I contacted Studio One support and they said this problem happens and the only way to fix it is to upgrade to Version 2...in other words spend more money. This may be a good midi controller but unfortunately I don't know right now because I'm saving up to have to buy another software program just to get it working.

Masterkey: elegance and ease
The Masterkey 25, usb midi controller is the perfect no frills analog device for your soft synths.
