I had no issues (at least that I noticed) until a couple months ago, first it started ejecting itself but then files have disappeared. LARGE files full of photos and videos. The entire point of this purchase was to keep my digital possessions secure. So obviously I'm not happy.

Does Its Job
I bought this for the My Passport portable drive I purchased as protection since my last drive's cable connection went bad after two years (assumably since I never put it in a case). So far it has protected the drive just great, and the cable fits in the netted area inside the case just swell.

Very nice
Bought it along with a 7200rpm g-tech external drive, which seems less sturdy than lacie ones, or even the digital passports. Provides sufficient armor. Carry with you without worry!

I'd buy this again!
This is. a great case, it fits portable drives that are a little larger than the passport drives, I use it for my Porsche Design 4TB drive - the smaller cases don't accommodate the Porsche 4TB, this one does easily. Great price, great product!

Definitely recommend and the price is great!!
Great price and really roomy. I wanted something to protect my new-shaped 4TB My Passport USB 3.0 Secure Portable Hard Drive and this worked great. I think the protection is sufficient and you can nicely keep and keep organized, cables or other small items in the sleeve in the case lid. Works like my favorite suitcase where everything will stay in place while you travel.

Good Protection
I bought this for my WD my Passport portable hard drive and it seems to give it good protection. There is a small pocket on the inside lid that is useful.

Perfect Fit!
Fits my portable hard drive perfectly along with a few spare flash drives! I travel frequently with my external hard drive and this gives me that needed extra protection against the elements and not so smooth ride to and from locations!

I purchased this for the WD Wireless drive I purchased at the same time. The drive was defective so I returned it and, therefore, returned this case. This case seems of good quality and woud be good protection for a hard drive.

Sturdy, strong portable HDD case
How I use this product: -I recently bought a 3TB WD My Passport Portable HDD. This is how I protect it. I mentioned in my review for the actual HDD that I think it's a good precaution to position the drive in a way where the port is not prone to wiggling when a cord is connected to it. Good fit for My Passport drives
A little on the large size for My Passport Drives but will fit the drive alone and also with the Grip Pack banding. Also plenty of room for wires and a few USB Flash drives. Case is ridged and should hold up well over time. The zipper is smooth and doesn't catch on anything.

Rugged Ruggard
I use this to transport my Seagate 1TB slim hard drive, although it's a little bigger than what I needed. The Seagate is only 12mm thick so anything 13mm+ in thickness will work perfectly. With this I can transport my hard drive around with out being worried about damaging it.

I purchased a portable hard drive, which I use to send long segments of digital video files back and forth to a colleague who is working with me long distance on a film. This case is light-weight but durable, and I feel confident that the hard drive is being protected.

Perfect
I use this with my 2TB WD Passport. It's exactly what I was looking for. I've always got my HD in my backpack but I'm always worried I'll bump it the wrong way. One day I realized they probably make cases for external HDs (right?). So I browsed through B&H and found this hard case. It fits perfectly and now I'm never worried about damage to my hard drive! On top of all that, it's super affordable and is made with great quality. I mean it, every inch of this case feels tough and I'm certain it will last for many hard drives to come.
