Great little case
I've been using this with my WD Passport drive (1TB) and it's worked great. The interior strap is very secure to hold the external drive in place so it doesn't bump around, and it has another mesh pocket for the drive cord. An older drive was beat-up in the bottom of my backpack during grad school, and this prompted me to better protect my newer drives for work later on. If you're considering this, just go ahead and get it! It'll protect your external drive and if you move around with it at all, it's entirely worth it for a cheap cost.

Ruggard HCY-PVB Portable Hard Drive Case
I bought this for transporting my newly bought WD My Passport 4TB portable external drive for Mac. It fits perfectly and is a hard case but if you squeeze it there is some give. The only thing I don't like about it is it smells strongly of rubber. I put it outside for a few days to let it gas off which helped but it still has a slight smell to it.

Sturdy Case for my WD Drive
I bought this case for my WD 4TB My Passport USB 3.0 Secure Portable Hard Drive. The drive fits perfectly and there is a perfectly sized mesh pouch in the lid that holds the USB cable and drive instruction. I carry the case in my laptop case with an external DVD drive and wireless mouse. The case is rigid enough to protect the drive and supple enough not damage the other components.

Tough case, really protects
This case was a perfect fit for my WD portable drive. It is very durable, with a hard casing. The drive is stored behind a stretch band on one "door," with the included connector wire stored in a net pocket on the other "door," holding everything securely.

Sloppy inside
I was disappointed in this case. The Seagate 5TB drives that I purchased to go in this case fit sloppily in it. I will have to use some foam to make the drive fit more securely. I don't reccomend it for that reason. Bob

Perfect!
The case is the perfect size for my WD My Passport, 4TB external hard drive. There are separate compartments in the case to secure both the hard drive and the USB cable. I am confident that the hard drive and cable will remain well protected for a long time due to the hardness of the case's exterior. Just perfect!

Excellent Buy - Perfect for my needs
This case is very useful. I am really pleased with the hard-case design. It is the perfect size to hold the smaller external hard drives, and basically, has almost zero to no wiggle room. Which is very important for the good protection of the hard drive. I really like it and I highly recommend it! The only issue and the reason it isn't 5 stars are because the zipper can sometimes be hard to get around the corners. Though after breaking it in it works like a charm.
