Great product for a great price
I wanted something simple that I could easily take almost anywhere. This monopod fits the bill. Added an Oben Qra-R2 quick release assembly with extra mounting plates and I'm good to go. While not entirely effortless, this device does provide some additional stabilization so you can clean up those shaky videos. Add a cell phone attachment and shoot almost like a pro.

A fine monopod as far as monopods go... i like the releases as opposed to the twist releases, so that's a plus.

I use this with an Oben head mounted on a kayak with a D610 body and a sigma 150-600 lens with multiplier for taking bird shots works very well and can handle the weight

Came with the 6D
I haven't really had a chance to use it much but looks to be fairly sturdy. It does make it easier to steady the camera than hand holding and sets up much faster than the tripod. May use it as a hiking stick also.

An unlooked for gift from BandH
This monopod showed up with my order for other equipment from BandH and My gift has turned out to be an excellent one. 1. it is tall enough extended- but I'm only 5'2 2. It is STRONG. No bendinding or flexing - stable very stong. I think it is excellent And I love my present. thank you BandH

Good and sturdy
Does what it is supposed to. It has a good hight for those that are a little taller, I am 5 ft 5in. and I could use it for something that was over my head to shoot.

It does it's job
I like it, it feels very sturdy but almost to the point of being heavy. I have another monopod and it does the same job at a lighter weight. I also wish this one was a bit taller as well. The win for this was that I thought it came with a rotating head but I guess that's with another model.

Quick and easy image stabilization
I love this light and compact monopod. The belt clip makes it easy to take with me on shoots and it quickly and easily extends to give me that extra support in low light situations. A great tool to have.

Almost works as advertised
I have not been able to get the wrist strap to work as a stabilizing element. Also the top plate was on so tight that I need a jar opener to get it off to reverse the screw mount.

Nice surprise in a bundle
This came as a nice surprise in a bundle with a camera body I purchased. I had been thinking about getting a monopod but could never justify the purchase. I was happy when this one came in the box with the camera. It may become a tad heavy if you use it all day long.

Solid and strong
Nice feel in the hand. Don't worry about my camera one bit with the strong wrist strap. Light weight and fits in my backpack, with only a few inches sticking out.

Extremely Poor Build Quality
The ObenACM-2400L seemed like a perfect fit for me with its self-standing mini-legs, but I've now been through 2 of these monopods and they both ended up in the same condition: a pile of pieces. The first monopod lasted just under two months before the entire unit literally fell apart in my hands. B&H customer support was excellent and they shipped a second unit immediately. This is the pro choice
Super sturdy, quality build, this should last for years. They thought of everything, including soft grip and padding to keep the cold aluminum off in chilly conditions. Lighter than it looks, adjustable to many usable heights. I added a ball head mount for my DSLR and would encourage that for full flexibility.

very sturdy, feels reliable but could be a little taller (I am 6'-6 and need to bend a little which is not too comfortable for long shooting). I would definitely buy it again if needed.

Very sturdy, well built.
Upgraded from the ACM-1400 model. Using the original Canon 400mm 2.8 version 2. Went to the BH store to test out the flex on a fully expanded monopod. This felt comparable to the more expensive Gitzo. I prefer the latch style over the twist style. Feels very sturdy and does not sag under the +15lbs of weight. The ACM-1400 did fine but felt a little wobbly. That model does fine with my 150-600 tamron.

Good product, good value.
Lightweight, sturdy, and steady with 500mm lens. Flip latches are fast and positive as is the quick connect mechanism. The connecting plate is a permanent fixture on my long lens body so I can be out of my vehicle and shooting in just a matter of seconds if I run across an elusive wildlife subject while driving around.

Nice solid monopod
This is a very good monopod. It's very solid to hold my Canon 70D camera with no issues. The foam grip makes holding the monopod nice. I like being able to swap out the head on the monopod.

Very handy and sturdy.
I am not a user of monopods but this one has changed my mind (no not selling the tripod yet) this is a stable mount and lightweight for those walk around days. The set up is fast and the collapsed size means it can go anywhere.
