Nikon D7500 DSLR Camera with 16-80mm Lens and Software Kit
So far, so good.
Just got it last week, so it is a little too soon to say, but so far it feels good in the hands and balanced well with the 18-300 nikon lens. The photos are good, providing you utilize the VR feature in the lens. The first several hand-held pictures I took without the VR were really unacceptable due to camera shake. Great camera.
I debated between the D7500 and D810. Rented a D810 and really liked it but file size is very large. The D7500 takes very sharp images with ability to print 13X19 or larger which meets my needs.

Modern camera; modern materials
This replaced my nine year old D300. First impression: Holy crow!!! PLASTIC!!! Checked to make sure it was a Nikon. Second disappointment was realizing the NEF format has changed and is no longer compatible with my version of Photoshop, so I had to buy Elements to process the shots. a lot of camera
I am not a professional; Amateur at best but I upgraded to this camera from a D3300; wow! its a lot different with variety of capabilities and multitude of settings I have yet to explore. I recently took it on a tour of portugal and I am content with the ease of use and quality. pretty good buy.

Retired and had to replace a damaged camera
Received 11/07 I do mostly wildlife photos as a hobby and being in my 80s it gets me outdoors and hiking. I choose the D7500 as I wanted to upgrade from my D5300 and it had some of the upgraded features of the D500 which was a little out of my price range. I have the Nikon 200-500 f5.6 lens thought it a good pairing. Ive only been out twice as the smoke from the Northern California fires has been bad. So far very pleased with the results. As usual B & H personnel help in aiding my decision and rapid shipping.

Finally replaced my D-70 (About Time)
I bought the 7500 to replace my aging D-70 (still works fine) As I wanted better resolution and speed. This camera is fantastic, Very fast in both focus and frame rate (Had to turn it to low, Its VERY fast) Great image quality as one would expect from Nikon. Fantastic low light capabilities, the thing will practically shoot in near darkness. Yep, Im real happy with the camera AND the FAST service I got from B&H. Order with confidence! I got my gear Fast, got the right stuff and got the Nikon USA warranty that other dealers conveniently omit, No grey market stuff here.

Great camera package!
I consulted a friend who is an experienced photographer about getting a good camera for vacations, etc. He recommended this package from B&H, with a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.4G ED VR lens. In no time I was taking great photos and some movies. Although I am still learning I am impressed with the photos and movie quality so far. I would recommend this package and setup to someone who wants a great camera.

I received my replacement d7500 refurb unit. I'm writing this as a separate review since I still believe my feedback from the first review still stands. The new unit sent had the right Nikon strap, and the buttons and functions and the all the camera features were all working as per factory standard. Not for gifting
We just received ours. Was going to be a gift for the missus but it arrived in a plain white box, sticker "Nikon Refurbished", then inside the components (battery, cam body, cables) were in 'reused' crumply ziplocks and taped bubblewrap. I know im saving $250 by not buying bnew, but just a caution there is zero premium feel for a $900 gift. I love B&H!
I love my camera kit! The B&H website is so easy to navigate, and the delivery was quick but careful... Everything was packaged so securely! Excellent choice
My sixth Nikon has exceeded all my expectations. Scene mode and auto modes work great, but the manual mode is astounding. Resolution, ISO range and energy efficiency are much improved. By far the best value in a DSLR today.

Good DX format camera
I had a D500, traded for a D750 but found I missed the 'reach' I needed for my 200-500 when I photographed birds. I went ahead and got the D7500 specifically for birding and I'll use the D750 for everything else. Since it has the same sensor/processor and much of its operation is similar to the D500, I'm right at home. It doesn't have the high burst speed of the D500 or the buffer, but I never used either of those fully on my D500 so it's not missed by me. So far, very satisfied.

Great upgrade from my D90
Prior to purchasing this camera I used the D90 with a similar type of VR lens. In my opinion it was definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I made the upgrade in preparation for a trip to the Serengeti and don't think I will be disappointed. Excellent combination and great enthusiast combo
Not sure if DSLR photography was for me and a brief dalliance with Mirrorless I decided to buy a D5600/kit. The best APS-C camera.
I purchased this because I wanted some of the features that were not in my D7100. Even though the sensor has less pixels it doesn't make a noticeable difference in the images. It took me a while to get used to the button changes but that isn't a big issue. The flip out screen is nice but the Hoodman eyecup does get in the way so I had to modify the bottom to clear the screen. Over all I like the larger buffer and shooting speed. The better sealed body is a nice upgrade as well. I don't use video much so I won't comment on that. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is a reason for me to upgrade.

I needed to replace my 7200 (it broke) and debated back and forth and with full frame 750 (I will be purchasing the 750 in August). You can compare and see the technical differences yourself but what I can tell you is I LOVE this camera. Lens is sharp/ best crop sensor out there- Amazing
Have shot several hundred shots and light roomed them all. The image detail and dynamic range of this sensor is amazing. Great camera. The newer 16-80 lens is incredibly sharp with clarity. Great setup. Don't forget the Nikon 10-20mm lens for under $300. Amazing lens for the price.

Love it.
As an upgrade from my D5600, this does everything I wanted and more. I can 100 photos in a minute and a half (dogfight between ibis's and egrets), I can take photo in the shade 20 minutes past sunset, it works flawlessly.

This turns out much better than my expectation
I've been researching for over 6 months and finally decided this model for my first ever DSLR camera. And this has D7500 has blown me away in every aspect. Still learning the advanced features, but so far so very good with all the photos and quality. My original intention was the D5600 but I cough up a little more for a higher model with weather seal and 50% more longevity of the shuttle mechanism.

If you want an in-depth review, go read what Thom Hogan has to say. My 2 cents: This is an excellent all-around camera and lens kit. I'm not going to comment on image quality and stuff, as there is a ton of information available already. I have no complaints whatsoever. My main reason for buying this camera, and switching back to DSLR from mirrorless, was handling. I was dearly missing the joy of shooting with a well designed camera. That's where Nikon's decades of designing SLRs are evident. The ergonomics are nearly perfect. This camera is a joy to use and the results are evident.

GREAT CAMERA!
this is an excellent camera. I own a d7200 and 2 d500 cameras to compare it to. first, it blows the d7200 away, better in every way. the only negatives are no metering for ai nikkor lenses and only 1 card slot. I don't shoot with old manual focus lenses, and I always set my second card slot for overflow, so neither are an issue for me. now, compared to the d500, the d500 is worth every penny more that it costs, its actually a bargain if you shoot wildlife. the d7500 is very good for wildlife, but the d500 is excellent.
